    Are we stronger or weaker

Let's not forget that our options for alternative top class midfielders may have been limited with no champions league football. We've forgotten that!

    Dempsey joins

Dempsey is a great bit of business. VDV replacement making £4m profit. Proven goal machine, immense last year, able to play more match time than VDV, more mobility.

    Are we stronger or weaker

Lennon and Defoe are also in the mix, which the starting 11's illustrated ignore. Sprinkle in the squad players: Jenas, Bentley, Huddlestone, Livermore, Carroll, Parker, Townsend. We just don't know what kind of development AVB could make with them. New managers always seem to turn at least one...

Could GDS play in a Modric role?

Unsure he is dicaplined to hold the middle, more of a final 3rd player. Excited to see what the next boss does with him.

    new kits

Na. Not great. When you see how slick Nike and Adidas kits look, this is like a cheap old pony kit from the 90's.

    Harry Redknapp gone

Levy and the board were the ones who brought us Champions league football, by appointing Redknapp. A risky, yet calculated move. Trust that they have made another progressive step with a further risky, yet calculated move.

Gio and Adebayor is a potential world class pairing.

    Parker pens for Spurs

A nice humbling signing. Back to basics in the middle.

Emmanuel Adebayor (signs on a Loan)

    JUST what we needed.

Do We Have a Contingency Plan if Adebayor Falls Through?

    Les Ferdinand and Clive Allen!

    Shoddy transfer business

This is a joke now. No transfers STILL! Not even a new Spurs shirt for us to buy in the shop to preoccupy us.

    Harry on Talksport 17/8/11

    US = Lebron James!!!

Emmanuel Adebayor (signs on a Loan)

Great that he's hated by Gooners now as well. A true converted yid.

    Shoddy transfer business

I can't understand why clubs can't initially agree deals before te window opens, then seal them, exchange cash etc when it does. Surely this occurs, as you see players move days after.

    Keane signs for LA Galaxy

I like how Keane says thanks and goodbye to spurs, after all these years.

    Shoddy transfer business

I like reading comments about how long it takes to complete a deal. Why haven't Newcastle had this trouble? Or Liverpool? I think, as mention at the start, we've wasted time chasing players that won't come. If we end up loaning a striker, which is likely if Adebayor joins, it's not a good sign...

    Shoddy transfer business

What a shoddy display by our club in This transfer window. I'm embarrassed. It's not about getting players in before the window shuts, it's about getting them over preseason and allowing them to integrate into the squad BEFORE the season starts. We've been absolute rubbish, again. Don't even...

Could we do something special this year...

Only one signing, a 40 year old??? NO!

    Striker problem: Coaching held accountable

Yes, we'd all like to see a fresh new face up front this summer. Doesn't every club dream of a new striker coming in a becoming a new hero! When you look at our current selection of stikers: Defoe, Crouch, Pav, Keane. They ain't that bad really! Fair enough, they didn't score enough last...

    Jol and Murphy

For Charlton he was the main man, proving for Bent. In the hole. We were to big a team than to have Murphy command that role. Nice wife, if I remember rightly!
