    This is why I always try and stay grounded when we snap up young talent - I seem to remember we all thought the club had done really well to land him and he was a real upcoming talent. Sometimes these moves just don't work out.

    It shows how bad we've been at selling players. Chelsea seemed to have a conveyor belt of youngsters they sold every season.

    I think the idea is to show other teams that if they co-operate they'll be treated fairly. Everton tried to hide and delay their wrong doings so any points deduction would be the following season.

    I think it's £100m of profit they need, hence why the sale of Gallagher is so helpful to them, as he's home grown it's all profit.
