*** CHELSEA v SPURS *** Official Match Thread

Poor game not only by us but chelsea as well. We lacked ideas and energy. Maybe something to do with a amount of games most of the players have been playing. If Bent is fit on Tuesday he has to play Berby is looking tired.

    The Replay on TV

i was in India when we played the 2nd leg of the semi last year. ESPN, STAR and Zee didn't show the game, they only have rights for the PREM not Carling Cup. You will have to try and stream it or get someone to give you updates.

    Zonal Marking

"The other thing of course was having a goalkeeper (Bruce Grobbelaar) who we knew was going to come for crosses." I think that is our problem....

    Zonal Marking

Poyet hinted at changes after Villa and today they happened, for all the corners we went zonal. I am not a big fan of this system, beacuse the opp player always has a running jump, however Liverpool use it quite a lot and it seems to work for them. Hopefully it works for us.

    Selling club and transfer policy.

I don't think we are a selling club. The two big players who have left the club (assuming berby does go in jan or in the summer) are both players who don't want to play for us. If they don't want to play for Tottenham then get them out ASAP.

Who does the Hudd remind you of??

To get the best out of him we have to play with 3 in the midfield.

O'Hara, hot prospect for the future

O'Hara showed he has potential and if he can improve and be consistent he could become a excellent player. i loved was the way he switched play from left to right 3 or 4 times and also having a left footed player central gives the time great balance. On the whole, Good debut against a VERY...

*** ARSENAL v SPURS *** Official Match Thread

just back from the game. Good display took the game to scum and just feel short, O'Hara was impressive. Seen spurs play at Pompy, city and scum in the last week. I have to say even with a patched up team we moving in the right direction. special mention for Kaboul, he has recicved...

    This Might Sound Stupid But...

when I saw mine last year l thought the same. To get into the ground you place the ticket against the bar code reader, hence the cheap look.

    Jenas is the key

JJ is the best central midfielder we have and when he plays well so does the team. The downside to JJ is the inconstancy in his game there are too many average games. Is he a holding midfield player? Not in my book, because that role is about reading the game, knowing when to press...

    Huddlestone's great talent......where is it?

Tonight was not his best game, he was poor in the 2nd half and joey55 is right a heavy pitch does not suit his slow game. I am a fan of Hudd, but like a few people I am starting to lose patience. He is at the age when he needs start controlling the tempo of games and directing the play...
