    Tottenham Vs Chelsea: Match Thread

My team Ll Walk, daws, vert, Rose Paulinho, Sandro, dembele Eriksen, Siggy Soldado I know it's a change to 4321 but in a game like this possession will be key. Townsend can be used for pace and Holtby, Lamela and Defoe give us real options. Only issue is we can't play this if Rose is unfit...

    Reading Vs Tottenham: Match Thread

Slow steady progress is what I want to see and whilst I'm not going to claim this game was it, it is at least a start. I liked our midfield, Defoe looked hungry (imagine him suddenly becoming clinical!) and Naughton looked ok (on the highlights at least - better than Walker even). I also liked...

    Newcastle Vs Tottenham: Match Thread

I agree with your point the only thing is at the top level you need to avoid being too one dimensional. Without the option to hold the ball up or similarly playing first time crosses to strikers who are good in the air a team can become predictable and therefore too easy to defend against. A...

I agree with most except with moving Huddlestone on (I think Chedozie is spot on Huddlestone's improvements are there to see in a way that wasn't there before 'Arry) I think he was massively underated for us last season. I know he wasn't at his best before he got injured and certainly nowhere...

    Squad Assessment - 2011/2012 - The Defence

Spot on. Agree with JimmyG2 - assessing our srikers should be interesting. With anticpated arrivals its difficult to know who will be kept until its known who's joining (assuming someone is)

    Tottenham for the title

Underrated? Definitely Bettering three or four of the top six? Certainly possible Having the right mentality to win the Premier League for the first time in decades? Only in dreams and computer games.

    We hate Harry/"player"/Levy/Spurs...

Well said. This is the best squad I can remember - we are mixing it with Chelsea and Man City and have you seen their wage bill. Oh and I am currently looking forward to a knock-out Champions league on Tuesday with AC Milan, that I think we actually have a chance (even if it slim)
