    Arsenal

I think of it like when we need West Ham to beat someone. I’m not supporting the West Ham win, just the consequences of the game. In this case it feels really crappy favouring ourselves doing worse to stop Arsenal winning the league. Hopefully ourselves and Utd can get a result against Arsenal...

    Arsenal

Well obviously. But if we lose to Arsenal and us beating City wins Arsenal the league, I’d rather lose to City.

I can handle us being in the EL instead of the CL a lot easier then I can handle them winning the league. There are posts in Spurs chat saying we’d rather be in the EL than CL. I just can’t see how what we gain out of an extra 3 points against City is worth more than them winning the league.

    The ousting of Daniel (COYS)

I just don’t really get your attitude sometimes. There are loads of good posts throughout the thread both criticising and defending Levy. Your posts don’t seem to acknowledge that at all.

    Eberechi Eze

Probably. He’s a quality player who appears to fit our requirements so we’ll likely keep tabs on him.

Why Mod when you have such disdain for the posters as a whole?

    Eberechi Eze

I think people have just been very impressed by him. I don’t think he’s a realistic transfer target.

    Eberechi Eze

Problem is they’d cost huge money. Certainly not value for money at all. Eze has 3 years on his contract and I think is 27. I don’t think our budget and squad needs will allow for us to put so much money onto Eze.

    The ousting of Daniel (COYS)

I don’t agree. There are numerous posts both criticising and defending Levy in the last few pages. They’ve been well received by “both sides.” But one poster just flat out lied to make his criticism and rightly got called out for it.

    The ousting of Daniel (COYS)

But the difference is the criticism in this case is a lie. We can all analyse anything however we want. But as soon as someone lies to make their point then they’re probably not worth discussing with.

All true but I'm going with the conspiracy theory anyway.

Looks offside to me for the Everton penalty.

    The ousting of Daniel (COYS)

Agree but ultimately Levy won’t be held accountable. Ultimately we just have to hope he gets the transfer setup and head coach hire right in the present and makes the right decision next time he has to make one.

    2023/24 - The Race For..................

I honestly don’t care if the squad is ready for the CL. The extra money helps us build a better squad and watching us in the elite competition is always great.

    The ousting of Daniel (COYS)

There’s no denying that the messes of Mourinho, Nuno and Conte have held us back. Our spending during this time has been decent though so that’s a bit of a lame criticism. We appear to be on the right track now. Hopefully we’ll have a strong summer transfer window and the Ange appointment will...
