I read an article (can't seem to find it now) that said the retractable seat decision had to be made when building started, it would be ridiculously expensive.
I read a little while back (can't find the article now) that retractable seating can't be put in now without it being extremly expensive, it is something that had to be decided before building started. No idea how true that is .
Sugar admitted today that Tottenham were encouraged to bid even though they made it clear from the start they wouldn't keep the track, I think Danny Boy was played at his own little games by the OPLC.
This will not happen if Tottenham win the bid, they barely reduce the ticket prices for cup games, supply and demand dictates prices, this is why Spammers can do kids for a quid.
Of course a lot of effort was put into the bid for the OS, Mr Levy wanted it very badly, as it is a new stadium for a lot less money. We were only told in the last couple of weeks that the NPD had become unviable which makes me think that little nugget was put out there so Spurs fans would...
The reason (if I was a cynic) NDP became unviable was to 'persuade' Tottenham fans that it was the OS or wither and die, credit where credit is due it seems to have worked.
He also said Stratford 'was keeping his options open' and we were still pressing ahead with the NPD (even though he said just last week that hasn't been viable for some time), not sure his words mean that much.
