Watched a lot of Jason Dozzell at Ipswich years before Spurs went for him and he was very good for them but he did like a Beer or two.
His time at Spurs was a nightmare and never worked out but he did have a lot of skill but with zero fitness, His Son Andre Dozzell had all the big clubs looking...
He can handle the physical side of the game but the problem is can his body cope with it, he should do well he does has a bit of pace and can score goals but he was never going to be a first team player and he is a division 2 or 1 squad player for me and there is nothing wrong in that.
You can...
He is a player that we will let go at some point, I have never been a fan of his and I have been watching him play for years now, he does miss a lot of football because of injuries.
He has always scored goals at youth level but he also misses a lot of chances but he will do OK in the lower...
This could have been done a long time ago, wish him well but he was well down the pecking order at Spurs, could have been a lot harsher but I am a massive Poch fan so will leave it at that.
Sterling next then move onto a few others.
Millwall looked the better side for about 30min but you are right after watching them a few times they are not very good at going forward or defending and what they do need is pace, Someone like a J’Neil Bennett.
He looks a lot fitter than he did a few weeks ago so he is getting something out of the games but still no goals.
Good thing about him going off is you don't have to watch Millwall anymore.
Watching the game and he is very much in this match, if it is 442 he is the one dropping a lot deeper, he is moving a lot better than the last time I watched him play and he is working hard off the ball for the team, they are 1-0 down but he is playing well.
This is why Sunday league football was so much fun, I remember one game our striker eating two burgers from a van 15min before kick off, I remember the manager wanting to talk to him before the game but when someone pointed out the the striker had two burgers in his hand the manager went crazy...
Hope you are right and bringing him back to play u23 football was a good thing to do because U23 football has helped him find his feet again and the next loan spell he must be playing most weeks.
