cheers haxman :-) just saw that on FIFA and updated my post
that's a big blow for us
we'll have GDS and wilson knackered (not that i think wilson should start anyway) tevez and other argentinians city have is on a short trip to Dublin
definitely play our best team
deciding that will be difficult tho
king didn't look right today - gio may be jet lagged etc
gonna be a tough tough call for harry this one
city's biq squad may help them here as they can probably omit players knackered from travelling back from...
exactly - he was poorly treated, the only excuse i can find for capello is the jabulani and the difficulty our players had in crossing
before the jabulani saga i hd crouch down as a cert to play v algeria - he would have given them problems they couldn't deal with in normal circumstances i think
i take your point Garm, but our fans want us to make big money signings and without a billionaire benefactor the main way to raise the cash is thru the fans, be it membership, merchandise, tickets, TV money or whatever
we are the drivers for the mega-money that we pay out and recive
agreed - harry has signed crouch more than once and again like liverpool for good reaon, he's a good striker
eg i doubt the young boys team will be able to contain him at WHL
and apart from the problems with the jabulani, i would have thought he should have played for england v algeria
why not - the more £30/40 membership packs the club flog the better for our finances
it's one of the bonuses of being in the CL, extra demand
and of course members get the DVD which is the best free gift i've ever got from them
while i've been advocating GDS for the RM spot, the city game is problematic for him to start as he plays in mexico on wednesday night
i assume he'll fly back on thursday and the eastward time lag of five hours is a possible killer here
i suspect he'll be knackered on sat morning
harry...
as has been said good news for spurs overall, with our crowded schedule coming up
so hope DAws get his first cap nevertheless - he deserves it and should be fairly rested, having not played today
lennon is correctly dropped, has been out of form for months and was rightly dropped in the...
DVD
really good - best free gift i've ever got from the club
so many things i've forgotten/never realised
we had some really good players in the early 2000s
cudicini was the keeper when we beat chelsea 5-1 (and was 'less than good' on the 3rd and 4th goal)
mike 'it's a penalty' dean...
i'm not at all surprised, many spurs fans don't watch jj with their eyes but with blind prejudice, which leads them to make statments, which as stemark rightly says, shows they don't have a clue what they're talking about
hi antlesh - yes pringle and i have differed before
he's clearly misread my post and got it all wrong
i said i'd looked at the OS earlier and didn't see it
and that's no surprise cos it wasn't there :-)
but the issue i had with him was not over his accuracy, but the unnecessary...
oh and BTW - it seems that the news on the OS re modric and bale only appeared after the game
so it may be i didn't miss it at all, it probably wasn't there when i looked earlier.
you are on my ignore list - but when i make a thread, i have the courtesy to check all replies and despite your 'less than friendly' reply i really welcomed the news you brought re the team
i'v looked on the OS several times today and not seen the info you talk about - i clearly missed it, it...
cheers supersi and haxman :-) - and someone on the thread i made about it has told me both plus dawson were rested, which is a great, great, relief to me
three of our best outfield players and so vital for saturday - if they're still fit after the internationals
i'll look out for the SSN i/v...
thanks for the info pringle, despite your less than friendly tone - i made it quite clear i have looked
but anyway thanks again for info - puts my mind at rest :-)
