Can’t do any bloody worse..
I’m excited for Joe Schmidt, hopefully the ARFU back his ideas. Looking to bring in a system similar to Ireland., where the provinces are all working together for the benefit of the national team… no easy task given the politics and history.
I just saw that. What the fuck do they expect these days. Drop the shoulder into the head of the runner and about 50 fucking camera angles are going to guarantee you a red. Maybe he decided he wants to be suspended so he doesn’t actually have to go with this drab
I know spurs were on at the same time and I didn’t watch the right either but things are looking a bit bleak for the WC for the English.. will catch extended highlights tonight, but the score tells a story..
Advantage Aussie right now but two wickets changes everything. Nasser just made the comment.. 2-1 Ashes Series win, the first since 2001 on your shores.. history doesn't remember details. A draw is certainly good enough
On and off rain from here until tmrw afternoon might be better for the English. I was starting to think we might actually have a chance but with intermittent rain stops, it will make it harder to bat
So .. 384. Bat for a day and a half probably to get them. My heart says that Warner gets a few, Lab gets a few, Smith gets a few and we do it. My head, however, thinks that there will be a collapse somewhere like smith, Marsh, Carey and we will end up about 300 late today
A slow over rate isn’t “anti” cricket. That’s is a bit much isn’t it?
Cricket has changed because of all the white ball stuff and that’s now leaking into the test match arena.. Stokes has decided to play test cricket so aggressively that people expect too much.
for what it’s worth I think...
Well - all out 200... England smash another 300 by lunch tomorrow and Aus bowled out in time for an early Saturday take-away. Such a shame the rain killed the 4th test. Aus won 2 tests closely, lose 2 easily, and the rain saves them in the other.
I guess, as an Australian, my only position can...
I agree with you but its not easy out there. England are bowling very well.
Don't forget that before "Baz-Ball" came about, this is exactly what test cricket was (is) all about. The way England have been changing the game is the anomaly.
Cracking session this morning for the purists.. Excellent fast bowling and some resilient digging in from the batsmen. Great catch from Root (!).. might not be a popular opinion but this is the test cricket I love to watch
I’m in two minds. History only remembers the winners.. “Baz-Ball” is great for generating interest but the purists will tell you it’s just not cricket. Similarly, Carey’s stumping today, while in the laws of the game, generates conversation, but is it in the purists version of being just not...
Hey - does anyone have any insight on this?
I was paying my membership and trying to get a junior membership for my son. It is not allowing me too as I have to "Assign" his membership to my network, but he doesn't have one that I can assign it to!
Am I missing something?
Jesus.. such chalk and cheese in the Ashes when it’s in Oz vs England. England have looked hapless this tour. Bairstow? Crawley? Where the fuck did you dig them up from? Credit to the Aussie quicks to be fair, been bang on all series..
