The Daily ITK Discussion Thread - With Harry Exclusive! 14th June 2012

Spookily enough the Bet Victor have Harry to be the next Arse / Man Utd / Man City / Swansea manager, all at 33/1? I struggle to understand what the bookies base odds on but after seeing that I would assume that 33/1 is a very very very long shot. Having said that if Blanc does come that would...

    Harry Redknapp

I couldn't agree more re AVB, I don't think he is ready for the pressure cooker situations. As well as his risky tactics he seemed to demand respect before actually earning it. Do you remember all that 'you must celebrate with me' nonsense when they scored? I don't know if any of it was true but...

The Daily ITK Discussion Thread - 23rd May 2012

Yeah I think you're right, I read somewhere that Bentley's contract is until Summer 2014 so he has another 2 years for us to try and sell him. Gomes contract will def expire this summer.

    Drogba .............

Fair enough, kudos to him in that respect, not many footballers follow that trend. I'm now wondering if I'd have admired him if he'd spent it all on fast loose women, narcotics and the like?

    Drogba .............

He's leaving because he wants to earn his final big pay day, hasn't he amassed enough over the last 8 years on Romans payroll, I mean he's not exactly skint is he? I read somewhere saying that he donates a lot to charity, so maybe he rolled around like man trying to compete for the annual...

Who's Up For Losing A Ton Of Money Together ?

I was thinking of that too, the odds are roughly 5/1. However I'm not very comfortable with the prospect of only Chelsea winning, so not making any profit from their no doubt jammy win.

Who's Up For Losing A Ton Of Money Together ?

I've already put £30 on it a few weeks back, it feels wrong but I'm desperate for Cheatski's to lose. I feel completely violated by backing them. The things we do for our club eh? If anyone want to join my dark path be warned, it's a conflicting experience.

Great Sandro interview in Guardian / Observer....

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/12/sandro-oche-tottenham-champions-league? "Yes, I am Brazil's best," says a beaming Sandro before punching the air in mock ecstasy, which he tends to do every time he hears something that pleases him. But Sandro is not talking about football. He is...

    **Bolton v Tottenham Match Thread**

Absolutely agree, he didn't say anything about Wheater's tango with Kaboul which could've easily been a pen, he's almost as bad as Beglin, almost.

You've got to laugh at that last run by Ade, has he been on the pre-match sauce?

Hmm poor control by Rose and Vdv, Bale not with the program, what the bejesus is going on, is it nervousness or something? Mind you when I berate any one of our players they normally score immediately afterwards so what do I know. I do wish we took a punt on Papis Cisse, just scored a cracker...

    Europa League

It saddens me that we didn't make more of an effort in the competition and take it seriously. Not to mention not buying Llorente, that 3rd goal was Teddy esque

    Optimism Thread

It's a Sunday morning, lovely sunny day and I don't have a headache!! Back on topic being a Spurs supporter we all know the feeling of defeat, it hurts, it really hurts, but it means the taste of victory, when it returns ( and it will) will be ever so more sweet. Even during the dark days of...

    Another Harry Redknapp Article...

What makes it worse is Harry makes Pardew sound like the voice of reason : 'I'll choke on my beer if Chelsea win Champions League' - Newcastle manager Pardew The 50-year-old needs feels he will need to bring in mathematical help to work out how his side can qualify for Europe if the Blues scoop...

    Scum or chavs?

Dream scenarios aside, looking at where others are is counter-productive as you have no control over the outcome. I agree we need to focus on our game and get some points on the board, however we are desperately short of self belief. We need to rediscover that psychological advantage in order...

    Scum or chavs?

Scum to win 4-3 after no class knuckleheads going 3 up. However an almighty 22 man brawl erupts after Terry breaks RVP's legs, after he scores the winner, leading to both teams having 3 sent off from each team and points deducted from the subsequent fall out. Us and Geordies finish 3rd and 4th...

Is this the most embarrassing defeat?

I was thinking about this on the way home after the game. You have to go back to the inception of the premiership to remember. The last time we lost 3 or more games by 5 goals or more was in 92/93 when we lost to Leeds 5-0, Sheff Utd 6-0 and Liverpool 6-2, even in the mid nineties with Ardiles...
