    I can understand how the ref gives that as a penalty, but how on earth does VAR not intervene. It seems, especially since Webb has been involved, that VAR does little more than seek to legitimize the poor decisions of the Ref on the pitch.

    If Tyson loses this it could be absolutely devastating for boxing. If the elite can be beaten in this fashion by an MMA former champ then doesn’t that leave boxing as a second rate combat sport.

    If we qualify for European competition next season then we will need at least 4 club trained players to make up a full 25 man squad. With both Tanganga and Austin probably off next season we will really struggle to allocate those 4 club trained places. Selling Skipp would just compound that...
