Levy, who wears his stylish, long wearing Hugo Boss suits, has been doing his shopping in Primark for players and the last manager. Let's hope he finally realises he has to be a Bond Street/Sloane Street shopper and make Spurs an ' Italian label' club before he sells out to Elon Musk
Not so long ago we had a left back who made a complete hash of playing there. Remember a certain Gareth Bale? Once he was pushed forward he started to shine and then became the unbelievable and unplayable player that he is today. Could it be that there are plans to move Danny Rose 30 yards up...
Thought he came across very sincere as wanting to do well with Spurs. But the bottom line is that we want a striker who scores goals. His career record surprised me:
SEASON PREMIER LEAGUE GOALS
2010/11 4
2009/10 18
2008/9 10
2007/8 12
2006/7 10
2005/6 9
2004/5 13
It seems he's not as good as...
the one I posted on page 4 is working fine. I was recommended to remove the post but
I can't take it down as was suggested because I don't know how to.
Man U - not for sale and no need to sell.
Liverpool - possible but owned 50/50 and I can't see remaining shareholder remaining with a minority holding.
Arse - going to Usmanov or Kroenke
I think you're mistaken about the word "leading" - in this case it could be the identifying adjective that...
The actual quote from the Emirates News agency, WAM, is that the Sheikh "has acquired 60 per cent of a leading English club.
That can only mean Everton, Spurs, Fulham or West Ham.
Portsmouth finished 14th last year so I don't think they'd be described as a leading club.
Everything points to...
it'd be more interesting to see the statistic for goals scored against us as a direct reult of a midfield player giving the ball away to the opposition while the team is attempting to break out of defence. I don't know where to find such information but I suspect that Zokora would top the list
Put a hard working midfield around Modric and then he can play his game, although he must learn to track back and not let himself be overun quite so frequently. A midfield of Palaccios, Zokora, Modric and Lennon should do the trick
If we had a team that worked hard for each other and ran thier socks off for 90+ mins would Harry need to talk negatively about the unbalanced squad he inherited?
The fact is that in each and every game at least 3 players can't be bothered to do the jobs they're paid so well to do. And he...
probably because HR wants to get rid of Bent and he wants to keep Pav.
I also think that Bent's miss had far more significance for Harry, who quite rightly views our survival in the Premiership as more important than anything else, including a day out at Wembley.
How about looking at this from a different perspective?
Harry inherited a player (Bent) who he doesn't rate as a top class striker. A view shared by countless others, including the various England national team managers.
That player cost the Club the best part of £16.5m with wages on top, paid...
