    Nobody can expect perfection. Such a thing and human beings are mutually exclusive. VAR should at least guarantee consistency though. It seems to be baking in ever more inconsistency and even legitimising it at this point.

    Emerson and Davies will do as well as we could hope for from backups/rotation guys. It's more going forwards which this will affect. We simply have to get 6 pts from Burnley and Sheffield United or this season could end up being a total anticlimax.

    Hardly a disaster but some trim aside, we have a white top. Why can't these companies quell their 'creative juices' and make a plan white shirt so often? Give us some stripey socks or something if you must simply scratch your design itch.

    6 at minimum, hoping for maybe about 10 if we show some spirit again. That'll guarantee us 5th and would be a good season overall. Given up on more than that and would actually be midly pist off with less than that now.
