I just said in a WhatsApp group that if things don’t change drastically then I would be surprised if he’s here at Christmas. Which is soul crushing to say.
Signings are needed, that’s undeniable. But it’s the simple things that shouldn’t require signings that are the predominant reason we are...
Look, Ange has been a breath of fresh air on the most part, but that does not mean he cannot be criticised. His philosophy on the whole is great, but he has to adapt. He cannot continue to have a single style with no alternative regardless of opponent.
They have to review the goals against...
He wasn’t awful in the first 20 minutes. He was awful in the last. Which is why Forest got into and arguably had the better of the game by half time.
I did watch the match again when I got home. I watched for specifically that reason. I wanted to see the differences. Bissouma was not doing the...
I disagree. Bissouma was awful. Slow, hiding, out of position and lazy. I called him and his general play as an issue accompanied with Sarrs positioning well before half time. Hojbjerg deserves a lot of credit. Go and watch his contribution to those first 20 minutes again. He was key.
Also, why...
Yes. He also changed the game. But this is the Hojbjerg thread. He came on, sat in the hole, played it simple. Made some key passes. Moved to make the angle and was basically faultless for the first 20 minutes which led to us winning the game.
Absolute no brainer!! How any questions this based on his output so far (3 assists in last 3 games and plenty of other chances created). 15 million to add a current starter with a top attitude who can be rotated in and out when needed is a no brainer.
I agree. It was never a roll them over game. We made a crucial mistake on a corner, and that mattered. But had we taken multiple attacking opportunities it wouldn’t have. I still think offensively we need to be more effective if we want to win these type of matches, and that is the bigger issue...
See this is where stats don’t actually tell the story. We should have a way higher scoring output. You know what I’m judging that on. Not xg or any other modern take on it. I’m judging it on my eyes and 35 years following football!
yes we need to concede less and give away less silly chances...

Our biggest weakness is not our defending (although from set pieces that’s pretty gash), it’s not our midfield, it’s our forward line. We get forward, we get into positions but our decision making is average at best. So many times we make the wrong decision. We pass to the wrong player, we make...
