Abraham, who was singled out by Mauricio Pochettino to come in and deputise for Harry Kane, was keen on a switch across London but Chelsea had no interest in losing the promising forward to their fiercest local rival.

Jesus. Chelsea selling us a talented youngster is so incredibly unlikely. Must be nonsense.

Tottenham had a £25 million ($32m) move for Tammy Abraham rejected by Chelsea on deadline day, Goal understands.

Indeed. Much more suave and sophisticated than your standard or "common myth".

I knew I should have added (sic) after the comment.

It was a deliberate statement. Relevant to Chelsea who hail from Fulham.

I hope this is true, I'm such a fan of Abraham. That kid is incredibly strong and skilful for someone of his age. He'd be perfect to learn from/rotate in for Kane. Hopefully we can somehow find a way to make this happen in January/next summer, depending on a loan.

Both he and Loftus-Cheek need to be playing regularly so that they can be a factor for England and frankly both are too talented to not be playing at prem level.

Imagine swapping Sissoko for Loftus Cheek and Llorente for Abraham. Yes please.

If true you can expect Chelsea to make him a priority now he's been singled out by the greatly respected Pochettino

He's a good example of what happens to talented young players at Chelsea. Loaned out to mid tier English clubs or sent abroad where they can't do Chelsea any damage. Think he'd be a great fit for us but it won't ever happen.

In this case, they won't deal with us.

I don't know what type of deal he's got at Chelsea but he'll most probably have to let it run out to get away, and that's a tough decision for a young player given the fact that any career can be over in the blink of an eye.
