That will easily be the worst purchase of the summer and I can't see another beating it. Amazingly Fulham have made a small profit on him after he scored 2 goals all season! I would have put my house on Hull going down before this, but now I'm thinking of buying another one to put that on as well.

and there's me thinking that's not a bad buy for Hull.

At the very least he'll be more of a nuisanse( shocking spelling:oops:) up front for them against their opposition. He's certasinly better than wat the currently have, any rate.

I dont think its that bad. If he doesnt break down on his debut and be out for 8 months he will be a better buy than Bullard!!

He has premiership experience, if on form he can get goals, and provides a bit of power upfront, and is probably the best they can get. He will work hard for them. Considering Hull will be looking to stay up again (and will fail in my opinion), and Zamora was a regular for a team that qualified for Europe, its not a bad buy, if a bit little desperate

Zamora did really well as a target man for fulham last season. He had some really good matches.

In the current market, £5 million is about how much he is worth.

You guys are exaggerating imo.

This is crazy! For £5mill you can actually get a top international player. The thing is that it is easier to agree terms, as he does not demand that much as an international player does.

I agree, he played a major part in Fulham's best ever season. If he can add more goals to his game then £5m will be a great deal.

certainly, in terms of putting himself about, he is better than what we have.

he would have been a decent squad player for us, and will be an asset for hull, no doubt.

Funny, I thought the top international players were going for £20m+. Unless, by "top international player" you mean Tunisia's star player or something. :/

Kevin Doyle went for not much more - 6.5m. Many Irish fans rate him higher than Keane for Ireland.

Fulham's success last season was mainly built on defence, specifically Schwarzwer and Hangeland. Zamora worked hard but usually muffed up any chances he had. Campbell went for a base 3.5m and I'd back him to score more than twice as many as Zamora.
