Tickets are much more expensive this season it seems and then they slam on a £7 booking fee as well as the postage fee!!!

Why is the booking fee so high? :duh:

seriously £7 booking fee for 2 tickets? that's disgusting

Just read on last season's club charter that members have £1.40 booking fee per ticket and non-members have £3 booking fee per ticket (and they must have increased it this season by 50p).

It's ridiculous, thank god I cant go to many games this season as otherwise I'd be seriously skint by the end of this season!

that'll be why i hadn't seen it. very steep. you could buy a tasty but insubstantial pie at half time for £3

My brother and I both have season tickets, when we renewed them we both had to pay the £4 odd for the postage and packing. When we received our new season tickets, both had been lumped together in the same package, but yet we were still charged individually...

Did you book these through the official site? I booked two tickets for the Young Boys home game in the Lillywhite sale and my booking fee was £3.50 for both. Still too much i reckon but....

Not to mention, they charged £1 postage for a ticket that was electronically added to my membership card.

I agree that the fees Tottenham charge is extortionate but as a comparison last year for the semi against Pompey I bought 6 Club Wembley tickets through Wembley Stadium Ltd. They charged £25 administration fee per ticket (plus £4.95 postage).

It's just another way to rip off fans really. I think it's disgraceful that they charge postage for members now who have cards.

Didn't they introduce paperless tickets too, ones you print yourself? I haven't bought tickets yet this season, but do they charge you a handling fee for you having to print them yourself too?

If you bought them through the ST exchange the fee is higher, I dont know why but it has been everytime I have got friends tickets through the exchange, probably some admin crap. Our club do take the piss sometimes.

I just bought tickets for myself and my 11 year old son for the Qarabang match tonight, last minute. We're both members.
They collared me for £7.00 booking fee.
£7.00.
£7.00!!!!!!!
More than my son's £5.00 ticket!
On what bloody weird planet does it cost them £7.00 to transact two tickets?
This is so outrageous I am going to complain to everyone I can think of including her Majesty the Queen.

insert Holy thread resurrection meme here.

But yeah, 7 quid in 2010 with inflation, means you're actually probably saving money now. Count yourself lucky!

Absolutey disgraceful behaviour and the only possible reasoning behind some of these charges is 'because they can'.

The dealer can charge what he likes to the addicts, they will always find a way to buy. The dealer is fully aware of this.

I know we've got a reputation for being tight, but shine a light....

The booking fee is the only thing the ticket agent gets. Stub hub, ticket master etc. The rest goes to the event organise, football club, concert promoter, etc.

Get a grip.
