Tottenham manager Antonio Conte says Eric Dier is a ‘really important player’ as the defender pushes for an England call-up this month. The centre-back has played the full 90 minutes of each Premier League game this season in what has been an unbeaten start for Spurs.
And Conte expressed just how impressed he has been with Dier, who is now one of the first names on the team sheet. “I think there’s a big improvement in Eric and now he’s a player that in every game he’s 100 per cent focused,” the Italian said ahead of his team’s game against Fulham.
