This is a story, about a story about a tweeter conversation about a keeper that is fourth choice at Spurs. Amazing

McAnthony wants McGee for free, and is trying to force our hand. He has said we should give them the player for nothing but with a giant sell-on fee, rather than us dictating a price which he can choose to meet or not. Basically he doesn't know how transfers work.

The man seems very ungrateful, we loan him a bright young talent and when its time to give him back he goes on twitter to criticise our club. Cant see him getting another loanee anytime soon, fool.

In fairness over the years i think Sours have loaned or sold a few players to Posh, and didn't we take Etherington off them?

Still no excuse for that prick of a Chairman to throw his toys out of hos pram though. He always has been a bit of a Johnny big time of the lower leagues.

We took him and Simon Davies off them at the same time for something ridiculous like £400/500K.

Davies payed well, and Etherington went of to play longer (i think) in the PL than Davies?

There's about a year or so in it, according to Wikipedia we signed them both in 2000, Davies played in the prem until being released by Fulham in 2013, Etherington was playing for prem clubs until leaving Stoke in 2014 and subsequently retiring.

Not really relevant, but didn't Ethrington have a massive gambling problem ?
