It's so difficult when you can break the transfer record and pay £300k wages a week to Falcao.

Fuck off Van Gaal.

Hope we beat them.

Well, he is right.
Well, he's right in the sense that Man U is a bigger club than Tottenham. But with Man U being the bigger team, comes $$$$$$$ Tottenham can only dream of.

Fair enough, I would blame some of the language on his english skills. Last laugh will be on us if he gets sacked. Having seen the 352 UTD are playing I'm glad he didn't come here.

Much easier to get champions league on net spend £5.23 rather than £160million.

He is right in the sense that the job is far more challenging. He has to rebuild a side that will challenge for the title sooner or later. The fan expectation and media attention is far greater.

I not sure why this story was posted here or why any one is getting offended by what he said?

He's a very clever man. Always gives the press an interview or a soundbite. Means the journos will back him to the end as he makes their life easy and sells lots of papers. It's a trick the likes of AVB never learnt.

He'll also constantly talk the club's prospects down to get the board to loosen the purse-strings.

Basically he's the Dutch Harry Redknapp.

Where did this delusion come from that United are bigger than Bayern, Real, etc?

They are (or at least were before last season) the most valuable sporting brand on the planet, it's not much of a delusion. They should be a massive amount better than they currently are, and one of the few teams that should be able to challenge the oil barons at their own game.

Thank the footballing gods for the Glazers, eh?

To be fair, it is hard not to agree with what he is saying if you take the rose tinted Spurs specs off.

2 points from Swansea, Sunderland and Burnley is poor. Losing to MK Dons so heavily is very poor.

Spending loads of money is fine, and they will probably be a force in a few months but they are still the equivalent of the guy at the gym with huge arms and tiny legs. Their defence is terrible and besides Blind (and Rojo if he can get the WP) they haven't focused on that. Smalling and Jones are not solid enough.
