Walker's been one of the best two or three RB's in the league this season. He will go onto be one of the best in the world and if he moves on from us it will be to a bigger, more successful club.

No doubt BC, wherever he goes and whatever he does, you'll be shaking your head at the blind stupidity of all those championship wining coaches who can't see that he's got nothing except fast legs

Wind the clock back 5 years, insert the word "CB" and name "Dawson", and I'm listening to the same mis-placed evangelism.

That has less than no relevance to the argument.

Dawson and Walker are completely different players.

Plus, some of our fans thought we should flog Bale off to Forest. We can be wrong.

    Heretic

SP dons pointy Transylvanian pasant hat, equips himself with two-pronged peasant pitchfork, and lights flaiming torch - "THE BEAST MUST DIE - March with me to Castle PrettyColors!" Eek

SP will don his pointy Transylvanian peasant hat at the......drop of a hat :shifty:
And you don't need to be a vamplire...you suggested <INSERT APPROPRIATE POSTER> might be wrong about a player...that is almost as much an abomination in the eyes of Gawd as any vampire Eek

People who think Walker will be one of the best right backs in the world are deluded. He is just too limited technically. Although he is fast I have never seen him take the ball past a player with a feint or quick feet etc. He is however a good athlete and young enough to still improve most aspects of his game. I can see him reaching the same level of Micah Richards but the rumours of Madrid or Barce looking at him must be very wide of the mark.

Remember when you thought Hutton was a really good RB?

If we are to progress to be serious contenders we have tbh and realise that BAE isnt the answer for LB its not a kneejerk reaction over the chelsea game but hes a liability with all the stupid flicks he tries. As much as i dont like the man but Martin Keown said few weeks ago on MOTD that he will cost Spurs big time i have to agree with him

This simply isn't true. He is one of our most consistent defenders and the best LB I have seen at the club in my 20 years supporting Spurs.

Even King has bad games every now and then FFS.

No, but I remember saying he was possibly the best of a bad bunch and that we should be looking to sign a new RB as a priority.

Yes I do, it was around the time that he'd produced a championship side that managed to play better football than us prompting Redknapp's "I can only work with the shit I've got" quote.

Wow based on one game three years ago; you were also singing his praises a year ago. Luckily Levy doesn't quite share your simplistic knee jerk state of mind.

Wow, just wow. The f'ing bare-faced cheek you show when trying to claim that you know more about football than most on here.

Shall we dig out all of your posts on how Redknapp would be an unqualified disaster, and we were playing great football when Ramos was sacked?

I look forward to the day you say something interesting enough that I can remember it a year later.

Interesting or just ridiculous? Much like people remember Gibbs saying Malbranque was better than Modric years later. Don't flatter yourself.

Many SCers, including myself, thought that August would be too early for Kyle Walker, and we should stick with Corluka for the first half of the season. On that basis, and in general, I think anyone who says he is either the best full-back in the World, or definitively way over-rated, is being way too previous. I have a wild, radical suggestion - like, actually wait and see how he develops, eh

    What a daft arguement.
