Adebayor was turd. Very wasteful. We should have capitalised on the strong start to the second half.

Love Harry but could not understand why he did not take Ade off.

He was walking long before they scored. We had ten men.

Pienaar working up and down the right and JD chasing around up front was the way to go after the hour mark.

We did look leggy and that may have been mental as much as anything.

Swansea also played on Tuesday same as us and they looked ok.

We didnt deserve a point and were second best throughout the game. No way in 90 minutes did we have any control of the game. We were out played and out thought by a second string Swansea team. I really wonder what game most of you watched based on your comments. IMO the only excuse for such a poor performance was that Harry has to realise that we have a squad of players and there comes a time that he has to trust in the squad instead of relying on his favorites who in my opinion, were either fatigued or just extremely underrated Swansea expecting 3 points by just turning up. I honestly would have preferred that we had lost the game but having played the best we can than this sham of a performance. A very bad day at the office. If I was to rate, no one would get higher that a six, where only Sandro and Kaboul would get.

I think its understandable to start with a team that did so well at Norwich but I think Harry will look back on it and say 3 changes earlier next time.

1 - 0 nil up away from home, not completely in control, get 3 fresh men on including at least 2 workers e.g Livermore (as he did but could have been earlier) and Pienaar plus JD to run around harrass their back 4.

As i have said elsewhere, Ade was a complete passenger for about the last 30 minutes and throughout the game did not do his usual closing down.

We need to drop Ekotto and Adebayor and possibly Parker needs a break...............unfortunately we don't have any players in our squad that the manager wants to use.
We need to buy players asap!

Most of the team put in well sub-par performances, the obvious exception was Kaboul, who was apparently playing both CB and AM, the number of times he seemed to be dribbling around in Swansea's half.

Friedel 5 - well, he had to put in a shaky performance sometime
Walker 6 - was well involved even if not alway very effective
Gallas 6 - was more or less lone defender a lot of the time, did more or less his job
Kaboul 8 - far and away our best player - not only solid defending but was doing the job of a midfielder
BAE 5 - so relaxed he was half asleep, thought he was watching the game on tv
Bale 5 - uncharacteristically selfish and inefficient
Modric 5 - never seen him misplace so many passes
Parker 6 - nothing really to remember, has looked tired for a while, needs a rest
Sandro 7 - best midfielder, got in there and try to push us forward
vdV 6 - can be counted on to finish off chances, but was not very positively involved, otherwise
Ade 6 - decent in development and holdup, but not much of a threat today

Defoe - 5 invisible
Livermore - 5 did not shine, looked a bit plodding

we should be happy to have got a point from that....; on the bright side we gained on ManU and Chelsea who had much worse results.

Time to rotate some players

I think Harry does need to rotate players a but more during busy periods such as Christmas.

Parker should have been rested as Sandro was playing.

Also, Bale should probably have been given a breather (is Krancjar available?) as he needs to be looked after a bit more as does tend to burnout.

Townsend needs to be given a run too while Lennon is unavailable - against West Brom I would play him on the right. I would also retain Bale as it's a home match (if it was away it would be different).

Thought we lost our way when Parker went off tbh.

Unsure Livermore is up to the required standard at present and Ekotto is becoming a bit of a worry, would love to know who was supposed to be marking Sinclair for the goal which was so poor but deserved.

The Liberty looks to be this season's Reebok and at least they play good stuff, hope they stay up tbh. All things considered with other results etc. it wasn't too bad.

Thought Modric was our best player, dunno what all the 6's are about though tbh...we lost the 2 points when Parker went off. Any word on the injury?

Adebayor was far too isolated yesterday, Joe Allen was outstanding. Well played Swansea.

Loving the sense of absolute panic, and demands for massive numbers of new players - based on a good point, and continuing our latest unbeaten run (after being cheated at Stoke), at a VERY difficult away ground

Joe Allen was definitely the best player on the pitch.

First time I have seen Swansea for a full game and was really impressed with their brand of football.

I thought it was by far Modric's worst game for us since August, hope his head is not thinking of other things again

Walker just stood and watched as Sinclair walked past him to score.

5 minutes before, Ekotto just stood there and allowed the cross in and if it wasnt for Walker's superb goal line clearance, then Sinclair would have had a tap in.

I blame the goal mainly on Friedel. Keepers do get hurt sometimes, and he bottled it imo.

I'm no apologist for Ekotto's defending either. In fact, I reckon Ekotto was at the thick of most of the chances Swansea had yesterday. His defending has always been very inconsistent at best. And I gave walker credit for the block. But there's no point making the block one minute then letting Sinclair literally walk past you to tap in the next either.

My only defence of Ekotto is that he at least technically a much more composed footballer than Walker and around the middle of the pitch is an asset.

There's been a few goals this season that Friedels line hugging has played a part in. Chelsea's was another recently.

ekotto was excellent yesterday, some people seemingly cannot just accept his "languid" style, unless you're all blood, guts and braveheart like topspur scotty p then apparently you don't gaf

No he wasn't. he was excellent going forward and on the ball, but he made some defensive errors. one of which was allowing the cross to come in in the first place.

Yeah. How about the time he gave Dyer the freedom of the park to have a pop at goal early in the first half? Lost his bearings.
