Kaboul 7 - Again rarely tested and was good for the most part and carried the ball out superbly a couple of times, but was a bit clumsy toward the end I think - need to see it again, wasn't sure exactly what happened, who tripped who ?

Oh don't worry your little self about "who tripped who" hell who cares, unless it was Dawson who was involved, then you would be shitting in your pants over it.

It was a penalty.

Dawson was noticeably better than Kaboul in his 2nd game back.

We'll see how 'limited' Daws is with Scotty in front of him.

Do you 2 exist to troll BC around SC and not actually write much of any real value or insight?

I know whose posts I'd rather read, whether I agree with it or not.

Do you just troll us two?.

Oddly enough, had Dawson been involved BC wouldn't of needed a second look.

Go knock one out m8 and relax.

No I don't troll you 2, I rarely read anything of yours vaguely interesting enough to troll, most of the time I try to put my opinion across well and debate with other Spurs fans.

As for the challenge by Kaboul, I thought it was clumsy and stupid of him to attempt to win the ball, it's part of his game he needs to improve on, it got him sent off at Stoke as well. Dawson had a better game last night undoubtably, but that doesn't make him the better player, just like Livermore playing as well as Modric last night doesn't make them equal.

I am a bit late posting but I have to say I really enjoyed that performance last night. I thought we passed the ball lovely at times, playing one/two touch stuff. Passing the ball back, side ways, just keeping the ball, nice movement, nice simple balls.

Everyone seemed to play well and we should of won the game by more. I thought we dominated the game from start to finish. They had a few little moments but never really looked that dangerous until they brought on( I think hes called Drenthe?) there number 10 who from where I was sitting was very unlucky not the have a penalty but saying that we should of had a blatant penalty on Modric I think in the first half. Everton were poor to be honest but take nothing away from that performance we played some lovely football.

Level points and joint 2nd with man u oh how I love being a spurs fan!

Friedal-7 nothing to do???

Ekotto-8.5 very good game, some great skill, some great balls and set up the first goal from a great diagonal ball, and what a strike that was eh? very good game

Walker-7 done well.

dawson-8 actually thought he had a decent game, looked a bit shaky and usual Dawson a few times in the first half but actually played some nice simple balls and did not just hoof it, good game.

Kaboul 7.5 done well, few mistakes early on, and was lucky not to be sent of near the end and give away a penalty (I have not seen this back)

Lennon-7.5 good goal, thought howard should of done better for it, some good runs but still expected more from him down that wing but he did have two men on him all the time, did some good things

Livermore-8 very good game, I was not sure about him earlier on in the season but knew he had a bit more to him, thought he done very well, hes got a good touch, can look up, time on the ball,. make some good balls, get in to space, i like him very good game done his job well

Modric-8 again thought he played well, some good touches, nice balls, good game as usual.

Bale-7.5 done some good things as usual, but why does he keep being played in that free role in the middle? Why does he not just stay out on the wing? A few times when we was attacking he should of be bombing down that wing.

VDV-8.5 very good game, worked his socks off, some lovely touches, some class little balls through, very good game.

ade-8 some nice touches, held it up well, some good skill, works hard just always tries and does that little bit too much if only he could just finish more but good game

Pineaar-8 when he came on I thought he done very well, some nice touches, some good balls, he done well.

pav- 5 should of not been so greedy and why the hell did he stop from a lovely ball that looked onside?

Don't actually believe i said anywhere that Dawson was better than Kaboul based upon last nights performance.

Infact it's people like BC who make those statements, when Dawson has hardly stepped foot on the pitch this season to be compared with anyone. And BCs the first to criticise any minute error Dawson makes but then like Kabouls fuck up, he needs another look at it, typical BC point of view.

I'm all cut up that you don't read much of what i post, i don't know how i will ever get to sleep tonight now.

He brought a fair point up I agreed with. I was going to mention the fact that he gave Dawson an almighty .25 more than Kaboul earlier, but decided against it.

Who are you, his boyfriend? A forum vigilante like Batman with more tactics and passing percentages (Statman)? Following him about in a crusade to protect BC from any kind of criticism, how very lovely.

A troll does not add to the discussion, we were doing so, up until the point you decided to fumble into it fighting for your forum beau.

BTW Damian, I've got your back if you've got mine. Let's form an alliance.

I will send you a T-shirt with "Awesome" on the front and i will sit here with one that has "Dawson" on the front. But you have to be wearing it when you're on here.

Dunno about that t-shirt, if his passing accuracy ever fell below 80% I might have to set it on fire to register my disgust.

Such a shame Adebayor can't finish his dinner. We would be hammering teams if he had Van Nistelrooy's finishing ability.

Granted, the rest of his game is superb.

VdV MOM. A true class act.

Come off it, I piped up just this once, I'm sure he is big enough and ugly enough to look after himself (BC not Daws).

I'm on no crusade, and I have no problem with you calling out Ashcroft, he's fair game btw.

Gave it to Livermore, 99% pass completion.

Same here, thought he was very tidy last night, and it really did tell when he had to go off against West Brom too. He's coming along nicely.

And is it just me, or does anyone else suspect he's Chris Hughton's lovechild? They look so much alike.

Sitting in the Upper East stand, Area B, I had a cracking view of Benny's goal, fuck me what a goal.

Too hungover to do ratings in any detail but Livermore was my MOM, a very good performance - particularly in the second half and on this evidence our strength in depth for central midfield is very good. He was really strong in the tackle and holding players off last night for fun, did exceptionally well.

Dawson was good last night but that was Kaboul's worst game of the season since the opening two. Not saying he was really poor, he wasn't but it he was clearly below the standard he has been showing this season, no biggie everybody is allowed a bad day at the office but he made several mistakes that could of could us but thankfully didn't.

Obviously Ekotto played well, lovely assist for Lennon and a fantastic strike for the goal.

VDV was good, some lovely touches and passed the ball very well. One gripe, his corners were pretty poor.

Lennon did well for the goal but he needs to do this more, he checks and passes back too often when he could be taking his man on.

Modric was more influential as the game wore on and Bale apart from two bursting runs, one in each half, wasn't as threatening as he could be.

Too knackered to type any more

6 is my default mark, he came on for 5 minutes, did nothing of note and the game ended. harsh to mark a sub down because they weren't on for long.

Time for some ratings, I thought we were excellent last night, really good and Redknapp again impressed me - I won't call him the messiah yet (I'll wait 'til May) but he has certainly reversed a few doubts since last seasons run in and the first 2 Manchester debacles.

One thing I noticed last night was how much better we got men running from deep to support attacks - when teams sit deep the only way to inject any pace into the game is runners from deep, from full back and central midfield. Livermore, and Modric both broke forward well which gave Everton lots of problems as they arrived in space high up the pitch and it drew markers out towards them, pulling them out of shape. Whilst our 2 goals didn't directly result from this it still makes a big difference. The more you can pull your opposition about the more ragged and sloppy they become. You have to chip away at their discipline, weaken it patiently and eventually they will crack. Credit to HR for this, to me it's something we have clearly worked on - dare I say good coaching?

That goes for our passing too, you will often hear about players who 'only pass sideways', as if those sideways and backwards pass don't matter. They do, every last one of them. When teams sit deep we have to manouvre the ball around the pitch, sideways, backwards time and again, tempting the opposition out, pulling them around the park. Eventually one will break rank and leave a pocket of space, or make a mistake like Baines did last night. It's tiring them out mentally and physically, the second goal came around because no one went to close down BAE which is unusual for Everton who are a well drilled hard working team - we eventually ground them down.

Friedel 7 - Default
Walker 7 - One sloppy pass late on which set them off on a counter attack, but otherwise a good game.
Dawson 8 - Very good comeback game.
Kaboul 7 - A lax start, then very good for the majority until he decided to make a tackle he didn't need to make. Love it when he goes marauding forward.
BAE 8 - Great assist, great strike and defended well.
Lennon 7 - Peripheral to be honest, but how many important goals does he seem to come up with? Worked hard too, Bale take note.
Modric 7.5 - Pulled the teams and my personal strings as usual.
Livermore 8.5 - Very impressive game, much easier to judge him in a settled high class team, rather than a second string hodge podge - he wasn't out of place.
Bale 7 - Involved in the play, his movement around the pitch caused them trouble despite his touch letting him down a little at times, and just needs to work harder which really needs to be addressed.
VDV 8.5 - Fabulous. Always involved, his touch never lets him down, he works hard and has the ability to play those kind of balls like he did to Ade that few others do. Those passes are worth millions of pounds, and we only paid 8 million for this guy. To give that some perspective, we paid 5 million for Ben Thatcher.
Adebayor 7 - So many times this season I've wrote that it didn't quite come off for Ade, but yet we are still a vastly better team with him in the side, showing for the ball, holding it up, moving the defence about, he has it all.

Pav & Pienaar - NET

Mind the gap, Arsenal.
