Allright a few people acting like they are liverpool fans on here, cannot take criticism of a player. Its my opinion and I'm entitled to it. I have neither been aggressive, abusive nor resorted to childish behaviour. Instead I get abuse because apparently I'm not allowed to criticise Scott Parker.
Fair do's that's a reasonable answer. You could have said it before instead of suggesting the ban-stick. In your opinion is Parker beyond criticism though?
PArker MOM by a mile.
Special mention for Kranjcar as well. Played very well and even defended excellently as well. We need to use him more often.
Our defenders were superb as well. Whoever was worried about Dawson playing clearly do not remember how good this boy is.
A good point, considering we were so bereft of ideas upfront.
I expect an improved performance next match. Bring on the Barcodes.
parker mom but a big shout for kranjcar showed a side to his game tonight I didnt think he had
Just my opinion BC, and I agree with a lot of that...but generous with Adebayor and harsh on Livermore and Kranky IMO.
In defence of the way we sat back and defended deeply, it''s not the way I want to see us play generally but with the paceless Dawson and rapidly slowing King as centre backs playing high up the pitch would have certainly brought Bellamy and later Suarez in the game in behind us, Kaboul's pace is vital for us to play more proactively higher up the park, and also VDV helps us keep and recycle possession better as a team. As it was, sitting deep negated the pace of in form Bellamy, and Suarez when he came on although it did mean Carroll was a threat with his knock downs. Play high up the pitch against Carroll you render him useless but I would have winced seeing Bellamy and Suarez getting in behind Daws and King.
We defended compactly, and weren't particularly troubled by them. Put Kaboul, VDV and Sandro in that side - and Ade holding the ball up better then we could have played more proactively and taken the game to them. I still look at that as a decent well earned point.

Not sure about this
It's more to do with our mentality as a club and team. We should be going to some of these grounds with more belief and trying to take the game to them an dictating play.
We're a bloody good side but I dont think they realise how good

we missed redknapp, that is all..
But the only player to worry about in the starting line-ups was Bellamy and he was marked by Walker (our quickest defender). I know Dawson is not good for a high line, but against Carroll I'd have chanced it, with King/Walker in there as cover we should have been OK. We just didn't press at all and allowed Liverpool so much time and room to play it was awful. And we showed so little belief in our own ability it was pitiful. I think Liverpool have a very good back 4, but we didn't ask them any questions.
can't gloss over his shoddy use of the ball tonight for me. Completed 39/61 passes.
