this, but hopefully King is fit and Sandro for Parker. Our best 11 IMO.

THIS.. the team that has won us the most games i would think!!!!

 IF, Parker isnt fit then I'd imagine Livermore would start. IF, Lennon doesnt start I'd imagine VDV playing out wide with JD up top with Ade.

But I agree with you, that is our best XI. Harsh on Sandro but he can easily come in for Parker when he's out.

That wasn't the team that played against Wolves, Liverpool, Wigan, Arsenal, Blackburn, West Brom (x2)', Sunderland, Bolton or Norwich

I think that had only been the team for Fulham, Villa and QPR.

The record according to WhoScored: http://www.whoscored.com/Teams/30

Formation / P / W / D / L / F / A
4-4-1-1 .../ 8 / 5 / 0 / 3 / 13 / 13
4-4-2 ...../ 6 / 6 / 0 / 0 / 15 / 2
4-2-3-1 ./ 3 / 1 / 2 / 0 / 5 / 4
4-1-4-1 / 2 / 1 / 1 / 0 / 3 / 1

Of course it may be that we'd most often play 442 against weaker opponents and at home so you might expect an inflated result. The site also suggests that when playing 4-4-2 the most common formation has had VdV rather than Lennon on the right and I can remember a couple of game when that has not looked good and we got away with it.

It's interesting nonetheless.

My team for Everton:

Friedel
Walker Kaboul Bassong BAE
Livermore
VdV Modric
Defoe Ade Bale

Is bale drunk?

no, thats him beating the RM and then cuttin inside the RB, where as Walker just runs through everyone :wink:

as long as Bale isn't given as much freedom as he has been. He needs to stay wide and choose when to come in, not just cut in though.

Will need to see how Lennon, Parker and King are to see if they start.

Agree with the OP

Friedel
Walker Kaboul King Ekotto
Lennon Parker Modric Bale
Vdv
Adebayor

Not sure why people think Lennon playing yesterday means he won't start. He played yesterday specifically to make sure he was match fit for this game in my opinion. I'll be shocked not to see him.

Yep I agree with this, Lennon will play some part of this game, either starting or coming on later as a sub to hopefully finish them off.

I don't see Defoe starting. That's why Harry gave him the game midweek. Lennon got the game to get minutes into him and I therefore see him starting.
