got to turn up this time we've been poor in the last 2 games and have been fortunate to get the 4 points we picked up

now the players have got to give it everything and show some bloody desire

Don't know who the bigger ****s are, United or Chelsea. Oh never mind, I do, it's Chelsea.

Can't "go" for it though, we'll be sliced open on the counter. Just need the performance of the season. This will be their 6th game in 2 and a half weeks so that will be in our favor. That's about it because we've been shit for a while now.

I disagree, I think a draw would still be decent. We would be relying on Arsenal dropping points, but I could see Wigan getting a draw or even a win.

Thinking about this game is making me sick to my stomach, don't know if I can handle it.

United resting De Gea, Ferdinand, Carrick and Rooney today - for no reason I can determine, other than perhaps a shot at Bale this summer - dispicable. Can you imagine what Ferguson would have said, had the roles been reversed? The ultimate hypocrite.

A point still leaves us behind Arsenal. We HAVE to go for a win, not pussy foot about and hope to nick it. Go on the front foot and take the game to them.

I'm supposed to be avoiding stress for health reasons!

I might have to go and see Iron Man or something instead in case the game induces a cardiac arrest...

Don't use that as a excuse. We knew of this exact scenario over a week ago before we played Wigan, but still put in a god awful performance in. Only ourselves to blame, not United, the refs or Arsenals luck.

Not a bad idea, could you really forget about the game and just enjoy Iron Man though?

If we draw we'll be in the Europa next year

Even if we win it will be tight - anything less than a win at Stamford Bridge and it's all she wrote

It's quite simple really. If we win the rest we finish 4th. There are no excuses now, we simply have to do it. Chelsea, Stoke and Sunderland are not three impossible wins. So what that we haven't beaten Chelsea at their soulless bowl of a stadium since men walked on all fours, every game is a new game. I hope we just go out there and absolutely smash them on Wednesday. I mean really smash them to bits, a proper 6-0 whooping.

Its the attitude we should have had for Wigan, Fulham and Southampton.

Bizarrely no one seems to have stressed the urgency to the players.

I don't need a whopping. I want a 94th minute winning own goal off Lampard's fat arse/ Terry's face.

They've got so much quality in their ranks, worried they will tear us apart...

Need a fit Dembele and Lennon IMO.

And Bale to play off the left, give them something to think about.

I'm sorry lads, but any team selection that has Dempsey and Defoe is not going to win against a Chelsea side that is surging at Stamford Bridge. I'm almost certain AVB will start those two as our main attacking players, and our only hope will be they miss their scoring chances, and Bale catches them on the counter for a 1-0 win.

It's much more realistic to aim for a draw, and take our chances on Newcastle drawing Arsenal on the final day. I actually think that's the most realistic scenario.

That's down to quality squad depth, when you're trying to overcome such a deficit in resources it's nearly impossible to go an entire season without relying on an element of luck. Dropping unexpected points here and there will happen, but United's two performances this week have been unprofessional IMO.
