its maybe a bit early to say who's been are signing of the season i just want to know how you think are signings this season have got on so far and whose been the best signing so far for me its like this:

Gomes- i believe he is a good keeper for the long term and is not error prone anymore like he was at the beggining. an unbelievable shot stopper better than most in that area and i think has been a good signing so far 7/10

Ceasar - i thought i might as well give him a mention so there you go didnt play more than 20 mins and got shipped out. N/A

cudicini- maybe a bit early to give a rating but i'll give anyway probably the best back-up keeper in the prem (if he is a back-up which i think he should be) can't believe we got a player of his quality on a free except for the hull game he's been very assured 7/10

Corluka- been very impressed with this guy big, strong, skillfull lacks a bit of pace but makes up for it in other areas he's has justified his 8 million tranfer fee imo despite his slight dip in form in recent weeks 8/10

Chimbonda - if im gonna be honest ive actually been quite dissapointed with him when hes played despite him not playing alot, but is versitile and dependable. 5/10

Bentley - sooooo dissapointed with his perforemences even though i believe he is a very good player and has a future at the club he has just been so poor and he hasn't been helped by the revalation of lennon despite the fact imo when bentley has player his crossing's been decent he just hasn't done alot else- 4/10

Dos santos- don't believe hes been given a fair chance and when he's played he's looked like a good player it's just a shame hes no been used enough so it's hard to rate him 6/10

Bostock- people have probably forgot we only got him in the summer but he looks like a real talent and i can't wait for him to start playing for the first team N/A

modric- i don't think i can say enough about this guy he has just been brilliant his close control is amazing his passing is one of the best around and his dribbling has been sublime, he also has a good cross and a decent shot on him and we will do very well to hang on to him 8.5/10

palacios- excellent signing from 'arry hes benn great in ther games hes played he can pass he can tackle he can shoot hes fast he is a brilliant box to box midfielder 8/10

Pav- hes got a good scoring rate without playing all that well but he's still getting used to the premiership and will improve next season 7/10

Campbell- panic signing if you support man u he's good if you support spurs he's crap is how i see it 5/10

Keane- looked good since hes come back still unbeaten when hes been in the team 2 goals and 2 assits in 4 games is a good return and we all know what to expect from keane 7.5/10

Defoe- looked very sharp since he's come back big shame hes got injured when he was playing well but 3 goals in 5 games is a very good return 8/10

Yep, I'd go along with most of that except I wouldnt give Cudicini such a high mark, he's looked shaky, like someone who hasn't played a lot of football this last while.

I would have gone along with the Corluka mark too until recently when he's got the "Spurs Defending Bug". He seems to run out of steam on the 60 minute mark.

The jury is still out on Gomes for me. I'm not in the camp of his avid supporters. He still has to prove his abilities in this league for me - and cut out that shitty cry-baby stuff.

The buy of the season for me is and will continue to be Palacios. I was sure we had paid over the odds for this guy and that Wigan had tucked us up as usual - you know, the normal £12-16mill deal that Levy loves to land. Palacios set me straight during the Arsenal game and while he has not hit the same heights since, we know it is in his locker.

I'd like to see Pavlyuchenko given another season with a full close season behind him - the guy has been playing non-stop for eighteen months, pretty much. There is still more to see from this guy, with Modric playing centrally and laying them through for him.

Finally, Modric - another £16mill player and probably worth double that in today's market. He is the lynchpin of our team - he will unlock defences and cause havoc next season - if we still own him.

Overall some decent additions to the squad - some have still to prove their worth. One or two more in close season and we have a team for 09/10.

Modric, Palacios has shown some of his ability too. But he hasn't had enough time at the club to show his true ability.

Don't have time to do a review on everyone but...

1. Modric (9/10)
2= Gomes (8.5)
2= Palacios (8.5)
3. Pavlyuchenko (8)

Palacios only has a couple of games under his belt, which can skew his rating. After 20, 30, 40 games it might go up or down IMO.

I cant believe we have made so many bloody transfers!

We are Tottenham. It's what we do!:grin:

Agree with sentiments about Charlie and Modric. Both have been outstanding.

Charlie is a man-child. So hard to believe he's only 22. Gun.

P.S. Who voted for Ceasar?:roll::rofl::rofl:

Modric and Corluka have been the most impressive. Pav has been good in terms of goals scored (although only 4 in the EPL which is a bit of a dissapointment). I havent seen enough of him in terms of link up play, and ability to hold the ball up to suggest he will be any better next term, but ill give him the benefit of the doubt for the goals he has scored considering the lack of rest he has had between the euro's, russian league and his transfer to spurs. Well played to the lad in fairness.

Bentley has been a massive dissapointment, I know their is a player in him somewhere, and im waiting for it to be unleashed in all its wrath. He can prove all his doubters wrong, I still have faith in him.

Gomes I think is a quality keeper, and I could tell that from day 1. His early season blip in form has really resulted in a pasting from many supporters, but I still believe he is our #1 and amongst the best goalkeepers in the EPL. Far far better then Blobbo.

Palacios, Keane and Defoe will prove to be fantastic buys. Especially Palacios, who I think offers us exactly what we have missed since the departure of carrick - Balance, grit, strength and an ability to strike up a midfield partnership with I believe just about anyone.

Modric - although it is kinda what we expected him to be...

As someone said above it is a quite remarkable number of transfers. Next season, I really only want to see a LM and perhaps a top-class centre mid to play with Palacios/Jenas.

We seem to be covered across the backline and think we should give Pav a full season before writing him off.

i think Pavlyuchenko has been better than i was expecting. Especially considering he's played back to back seasons with a summer comp thrown in for good measure.

A full pre-season and a bit of rest and i think we'll really see the best of him next season.

In order of preference for me:

Corluka - I put him at the top simply because he has played CONSISTENTLY well since joining us - consistency is something many of our other players should aspire to be!

Modric - started slowly but has become better and better and looks the real deal

Palacios - ok only just joined but has really impressed me with his displays so far - fits in well with the system and gives 100%

Keane - made a difference as soon as he came back with his leadership, enthusiasm and passion - skill base starting to show again too

Pavlyuchenko - I think he's fitting in well but needs more consistency

Defoe - hard to judge but looked sharp until he got injured - I expect lots more from the man in the future

Corluka has been a great buy but his form over the last few games at RB has me a bit worried. He is far too casual at times and really needs to learn to make quicker decisions.

Modric easily the most impressive player so far.

Defoe was looking awesome before he got injured, gutted for him.

Robbie has shown real class since his return as well.

Pavlyuchenko will be a much better player next season once he's had the summer off and I think Gomes will also be an improvement given the pre-season to be coached on the English game.

I like Modric but he has been really overrated and I don't think he's done anything steed didn't do last season.

Corluka for me by the way. Palacios hasn't had enough games and has been clumsy so far.
