1, possibly 2, West Ham fans stabbed before match.

By the sounds of things, all those planning to renounce their club because of a stupid fan or two, can chill out now.

Either that or just man the fuck up and support your club.
Sweet Jesus! There are plenty of idiots in the world but to let them impact upon your life is as good as rolling over.

Yes, I'm saddened that there are loons associated with Spurs but there are unsavoury people associated with everything, you can't hide from it all.

What did they do at the Bricklayers? I'm presuming this was before the match?

i've been to about 5-6 games a season over the last 10 years and i rarely see any trouble including going to a couple of west ham games. There is rarely any trouble to what took place this weekend, last season against Hull as well it was probably one of the friendliest match days i had been to. There were lots of Hull fans on the train in, around street corners and having a pint and everyone was chatting and having a good time. I know they aren't a derby team but generally the atmosphere around the ground is fine.

That's good to hear. Like I say, it's been a long while since I've been, having lived in Oz for the the last 10 years, so if things have changed for the better then great.

I'd hate to think that, just when we are making inroads into being a true force in the Prem, we have a fan element that destroys it all. Our team is winning lots of respect with what they are achieving on the pitch, it would be heartbreaking to have that undermined, or overshadowed, by a bunch of lunatics.

From the off I thought something was wrong about this. If Spurs fans stabbed a rival supporter. They just wouldn't do it in around or outside the ground. I said this to a spam mate yesterday. Tottenham is a dodgy area and my initial thought was these blokes had pissed off the wrong people being knobs. I'm not at all saying stabbing anyone is right Btw.

Every club has idiotic scum bag supporters. We're no exception. Whether it was a fan or a shop worker there will always be violence between football fans. The only thing the club can do is ban for life those caught guilty. Our fans have often been attacked away in Europe but I'm not sure their clubs do anything about it other than apologise. I'd like to think we'll be more proactive in punishing any of our fans who cause violence.
