The year before we'd played them in the cup semi and threw away a two goal lead at home and then lost the second leg to their reserves. They were top of the league whilst we were struggling in the bottom half, Jol had been sacked and we'd already lost to them twice already that season. We'd then played well in the away leg but let in a careless late equaliser and it looked like a familiar story.

When Adebayor scored in about the 80th minute I was absolutely convinced they were going to score 3 more goals before the final whistle
