6th – Liverpool

I also think Liverpool will drop down somewhat without Suarez, but I can't see it being this precipitous. I've said that I don't think they've bought as well as they could have this summer, but they've still bought some very good players who will address major weaknesses (especially Lovren and Moreno imo) and they scored an absolute shitload of goals last season both because of Suarez but also because they play very fluid attacking football as a team. We'll have a massive task on our hands to finish above them (though I don't think we'll be too far off), but I'm still not convinced that they'll drop out of the top 4 as many expect. They could feasibly finish above Arsenal and United.

I still think that by far our best chance of getting into the CL next season is to win the EL this year.

A little wishfull thinking with regard league position and Player of the year, but am quietly confident. If Poch can get the players who under performed last year firing on all cylinders, we could be right in the mix.

I will not be one of those calling for his head if we do not start strongly though, whatever happens we have to give the gaffer some time.

Sorry, I feel like I've missed out on some HUGE intake of top players into Chelsea after seeing 99% of people predicting a Chelsea championship! Why are they going to win it exactly?

Sorry, I feel like I've missed out on some HUGE intake of top players into Chelsea after seeing 99% of people predicting a Chelsea championship! Why are they going to win it exactly? They don't even look that deep. What, just because of Fabregas and Costa?
They've added Felipe Luis lb, Drogba & Kurt Zouma as well, add in the fact that Courtois is back from loan, players like Schurrle, Salah & Willian will be in there 2nd season & far more settled in the lg, then they have Van Ginkel back from injury plus they will have Matic available for a full season this time. If that's not enough they also bid for Benatia this week & are interested in Khedira.. which might happen.
I can't stand them but I understand why so many are tipping them to win the Lg.. there going to be very strong this season.. I still think City are the team to beat though
