Evening, I am after one of the Mitre match balls produced for the 1999 Worthington/League Cup final against Leicester. There are usually (allegedly!) 100 of produced, given to all sorts of individuals connected with the matches/Football League/Mitre etc.

I have attached a photo of the match ball below.

Could anybody who has one of these, or knows somebody who has one (I can provide finder's fees) please send me a private message? I am willing to offer very good money.

If you have any other Mitre Ult1max footballs please feel free to message too.

Thanks in advance,

Actually this one might not have had 100 made, a little unsure on that fact.

I'd like to help, I really would.

I did have one of these balls...however, it was covered in writing so got rid. Soz. :sneaky:

It was one with the Worthington logo on it? Got rid as in tip?

ps agree with you that signatures on balls are horrible

You're only third ball collector I've ever met.

First was @Archibald&Crooks , although he tends to go for quantity over quality.

Then there's my wife who's kept mine in her handbag for the last 6 years.

Good luck with your search.

Yeah...had the logo on it. But as stated, got rid due to writing all over it.

I mean...Ginola, Iversen, Anderton and Nielsen to name but a few.

Just kiddin'.

Had one of the balls, but can't recall if it had Worthington logo on it. Highly unlikely if only less than 100 were produced.

Read this back to yourself and you'll see it doesn't make sense :)

Sorry. Meant I had a mitre ultimax, but unlikely it was a Worthington Cup limited edition.

In fact, can't really recall where I got it from. What I do remember is taking it for a kickabout when playing cricket and we were batting.

Used to get bored sat there, so my mates and I would have a kickabout.

I'm guessing it was this one (attached)?
