You could pick up on other things Zokora doesn't do, aside from getting yellow cards.

You could have picked from:

Passing
Shooting
Controlling the ball
Tackling
Appropriately positioning himself
Being not shit

Unfortunately he can't do any of those. Zokora out, even when he was playing better he was still shit. I mean, after today's performance is there anyone left who thinks that this guy should have a future at our club?

That sort of appearance is not the minority. The good performances are. And as soon as people realise that those stupid, ****ing awful, pointless runs he goes on and wins a free kick after diving, cover up for his lack of any sort of ability, the better.

Yeah but his jig at the end of games we win or draw and the way he swaps shirts with the oppo is 2nd to none

Ive been saying that longer then you stoof my friend... A midfield overhaul is needed tbh... O'Hara, Huddlestone, Modric are our only CM i can see a point of keeping at times.. Jenas can be great at times but he is so inconsistent its unreal

I was in the minority of 1 at half time in the matchday chatroom.

Admittedly, I may have gone over the top with 'surely by now we can agree that anyone who thinks Zokora should be starting for us is a fucking moron?'
But I seemed to be the lone voice. I can't believe how people can watch the same 90 minutes but draw a completely different conclusion of a performance. An inept performance, at that.

Unfortunately, a core of fans are unable to acknowledge those things.

I really hope this is a wind up and the plot has gone over my head, but I doubt it somehow.

A week ago everyone was singing Zokora's praises. We lose a game today, and its all his fault. I dont see any of these posters having a go at Bale who I think stinks.

Zokora over the season, with versatility and commitment has won us more points than he has cost us. He may not be the best footballer but with what we have he would be the first on my team sheet.

Typical Spurs supporters, fickle as s***!

I wasn't singing his praises, neither were some others

I thought he did ok recently, but I just thought as did quite a few others that the modric zokora partnership wasn't working (I posted it on here as well as thought it BTW) and hence I had grave doubts about those two playing today in the mid

Carrick is a great player......Zokora is shit, there is a difference!

jenas is just as bad as zokora is , apart from the fact zokora runs his bollocks off every week whilst the invisible man jenas dissapears

dont lay the blame on zok
id rather play someone shit who tries his best than someone who could be good but does not give a shite

for those of you that aint seen the goal yet check out jenas marking , he is at fault , a proffesional player earning more money in a week than most do in a year , the mug pushed the wigan player into the path of the cross so he could head it in

and you want this pansy to start ??? and claim he is our best midfielder ???

well if he is we are gonna be playing championship football for sure next season !

ask any newcastle fan about him .... not one fan will say anything good about this guy :bang:

Not at all. I've been saying he's not good enough from day 1. Through all the malaria apologist bullshit, through all of the "he needs time to settle" brigade, even through the "he goes on great runs" factions. He's not good enough, he rarely has been - anyone that says different, in my eyes, doesn't watch enough games of football. Especially involving Spurs.

I wasn’t particularly picking you out it just annoys me how linear peoples thoughts are, if Bentley had been playing or Bent had started I doubt this thread would exist and they would have taken the battering instead.

Thats not what this is about. Bentley gets stick for being completely out of form. That is to say, we all know he can be much better than hes showing at the moment.

Zokora however, appears to be on top form. Which is absolutely infuriating.

I had got the impression from regularly reading this site that common concenus had shifted and that on the whole he has been pretty decent this season(minus those with the blinkers on whom are unprepared to give him any credit). Now today he has a dodgy game at right midfield when the whole team underperforms and the knives are straight out again becuase the current scapegoats of the month werent playing.

If this thread is another sly dig at Zokora than people need to grow up. Zokora is amongst the very few along with Corluka, O'Hara (King when fit) and Gomes, that have given a sh** and contributed. The rest of the squad need to have a long hard look at them selfs...starting with Bentley and the others midfielders including Modric that haven't supplied nor scored enough goals.

I will go back to our best performance last season against Arsenal in the semi's who played centre midfield.....Tainio

Our best performance the season before away to Fulham in the cup and won 4-0 and who played centre midfield....Tainio

So what do we do with the only midfielder we have who can tackle flog him with the only player who looked comfortable on the left midfield in the past 5 years.
