3 of top 6 are Spurs players. The late season burn-out is a real concern. Also, no wonder Alexis Sanchez for Arsenal looked sluggish lately.
  1. Alexis Sanchez: Played 29 of a possible 31 games; played 2367 minutes of a possible 2790
  2. Toby Alderweireld: 23/24 games, 2056/2160
  3. Harry Kane: 26/26 games, 2016/2340
  4. Eden Hazard: 25/27 games, 2014/2470
  5. Chris Smalling: 22/28 games, 1994/2550
  6. Jan Vertonghen: 22/24 games, 1980/2160

not all minutes are equal (in this eg) - Kane minutes more problematic than the CB's due to energy, experience etc

Dier and Ali's minutes are going to shoot up there in the list coming days, now that they made full English debut.

Confused me at first until I realised it included internationals. In Harry's case it works out at about 4 full games per month. He will be fine.

Our players are young, which means that they "heal" (cannot think of the right English Word here) quicker than older players. Rotation will be necassary of course, especially in the coming two months, but we're getting players back, and as of now, only Chadli and Pritchard are injured.

Dembele, Mason, Bentaleb and Son have had to sit out quite a bit of our season so far, and Eriksen and N'jie have also lost games through injury. The common theme for the injuries have been that they are knocks and ankle twists. No muscular injuries.

The reason I mention this, is that the most common injury in football are muscular, and we seem to almost have eradicated it through right conditioning and our excellent fitness regime. In Pochs time, the only muscular injury I can think of was Mason against Chelsea on january 1st.

So if I were a betting man, I'd put my last buck on us having significantly less injuries between now and the run in. We're already "done" with the least probable injuries :p

Probably 'recover' or 'recuperate.' Is English not your first language? I would never have guessed from the quality of this post.

Anyway, I completely agree with you. Increased rotation will almost certainly be needed over the Christmas-New Year period but I would have thought that the players would have more than enough energy at the current rate they are playing.
