Haven't seen emotion like this after Wimbledon before. Hopefully that'll atleast show the Murray haters how much he wants this, feeling sorry for the guy here!

Go on Murray. The day you bring it home will be a great day.

If Murray had won he would have broken down big time

Don't understand how anyone can not relate to him

If its because of a jest in 2006 then frankly that's pathetic and get over it

Murray definitely gets a lot of unfair and, to be honest, completely ridiculous criticism. He's a brilliant tennis player and put in a fantastic performance that a lot of people wasn't expecting against the greatest player of all time. He's just unfortunate to be playing at the same time as Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.

Well clearly he has it or he wouldn't be able to get to it.

Every player has been pushed by their rivals around them - it keeps them at their very best in order to be winners. Would Federer still be playing at this standard without Nadal, Djokovic and Murray? They all have it but sometimes it needs others to bring it out...

Sorry but no. If someone can play at that level, it means they have the talent to do it, regardless of who they are playing.

I hate the people who always say to me, 'I hate Murray, he's a miserable ***' and all that shit because they're the people who have only ever seen him on the tennis courts and not off it. In his interviews and conferences and stuff he just seems like a normal nice guy.

Have to say, really proud of Murray though, mostly because he played a damn good match, better than I thought he would, was really great to see him play so offensively and felt so sorry for him at the end!

My god I forgot how amazing his girlfriend is though

Being of the standard to get to a Wimbledon final is fantastic and shouldn't be under-rated. Murray shouldn't feel ashamed to have been beaten by Federer, who is superb, wonderful and showed his mastery of the game today.

Seeing Murray so emotional certainly got my eyes watering.

Not as much as Tsonga's watered when he got that smack in the balls in the semi, but close.

We didn't get Murray, but remember we got Marray - and on a wild card at that.

Talent isn't everything. I never said he didn't have the talent did I? But hard work, mental strength and perseverance are other contributing factors and he's had to work on all of these just to get to a level where he can compete consistently. And that's in part due to the brilliance of his rivals. In another era Murray would've won a major by now and probably wouldn't have had to work so hard for it.
