The most outstanding sports journalist of the last decade or two by a country mile. Let's not forget Paul Kimmage too. Both put their careers firmly on the line over a principle.

You'd think they'd take notice of him then perhaps. Are they going to boo every winner who can climb well from now on then?

I bet they won't if he's French.
Or Spanish, Alberto Contador was banned for two years and the French public never questioned him or any Katusha (Russia) Riders.

This is the same Katusha who were stripped of their UCI ProTeam licence by the UCI because "they had the worst doping record of all time", only to have it restored on appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)

Think yourself lucky. My next door neighbour is French and gooner and he teaches his little brat French right outside my window every fucking morning. There''s nothing more annoying than a little brat who never stops crying or screaming saying papa all the time. He's out there right now screaming the little annoying ****.

That was Astana, wasn't it? Katusha's team has only been around for a couple of years.

Astana had Contador doping his way to win it, and Vinokourov, who should never have been allowed to compete and win the Olympic Gold in London after two convictions, and a host of other dopers. The team seems to be clearner now, they're certainly not doing as well!

Katusha were denied a world tour licence this year but got it back at CAS appeal. Plenty of stories around about the teams dodgyness.
