Dude you really have no concept of retail (or reality for that matter).
Thats false actually. Its good business to actually, you know, take care of your customers and try to keep them. Its like restaurants. Why do you think they usually take something off AND offer something on the house if you dont like something or have a problem? Its not because they like you. Not enough companies understand that customer service is important and the only thing that keeps customers coming back besides price and alot of times actualky keeps customers coming back regardless of price. You want customers to feel happy and feel like they matter and are important. No matter how much or how little they pay.

Of course I wouldnt expect someone who works for MLS to know that though. A company that could care less about their customers, and non dp players. Very much like insurance carriers in that regard. And Time Warner. And Comcast. And airlines.

As someone in the insurance industry, I ALWAYS have to keep my clients happy and try to. The insurance carriers sure as hell wont because they dont give a shit about anything hut their bottom line. Good business is being able to keep customers and get new ones. You do that by advertising AND word of mouth by current customers. Imagine that!

I never really use Paypal unless its the only option(like it is on SC) I just dont really care for it. Its a hell of alot easier but i'm fine typing in the credit card info for now. Especially when paying for something in international currency. Dont want to be charged like Paypal and the credit card companys do. Always ise my debit card. No charge at all. Just paying for the product.

I think Spurs need to get behind Apple Pay, if Apple ever brings that through Mobile Safari and the laptop browsers. Easiest pay system out there bar none. Touch the home button and wallah! No typing anything. Billing and shipping address already on there. Easy, secure, no typing. What more could you ask for? Great innovation by Apple, IMO.

Spurs only offered free next day shipping for all that shit they put you through? That's it?!?!?!? What the fuck?!?! That's the stuff that makes you lose customers. At least offer the item for free with free next day shipping! That's the least they could do and they didnt even do that!?! That, my friends, is what you call bad business and incredibly incompetent.

To be honest did not expect or want anything all I wanted was for them to accept the spurs store has issues which thank fully they now have. I was happy to spend money on club merchandise before this but now after it in future I probably wont so indeed like you have said they have lost custom. Although I accept my £500 or so a year is not much to an organisation of spurs is size that £500 would have been better off in spurs is bank rather than other sports retailers.

Once again I would just like to praise Donna Cullen & Jonathan Waite for the professional manner they have dealt with this and for finally taking control of the matter as I fully believe if it was not for the email to Donna, i still would not have got anywhere with this enquiry.

Hopefully my new shirt arrives tomorrow in perfect time for me to wear it in to swansea's training ground on thursday haha!

Trust me, customer service comes far before sales for me. We go above and beyond for our members, so I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Giving someone a free kit is training them to complain every time there's a problem. It's like Sunday Ticket on DirecTV. if you complain enough you get it for free and everyone knows that.

And I used to work in insurance, where it's borderline impossible to keep customers with the disgusting tactics used by Geico and others.

I take it back and I was wrong. I actually really like the home kit, a lot. Looks so good on the pitch.

Just need to vent a bit. My away shirt was ordered on the day of release over six weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I've sent two e-mails to the club via the "Where is my order?" form in the Spurs shop without getting any replies (I checked my spam folder too) and on Monday I sent a "Lost in Transit declaration" that also hasn't been replied to yet, although they say replies should come within 48 hours for any query. The first "Where is my order?" was sent almost three weeks ago.

Very annoyed at the Spurs shop right now.
