That was a great race. So much prefer the longer races. More dramatic, more tactics etc. Anything under a mile and by the time you figure out where the horse you've backed is it's half way over. Plus if you get a bad start or a bad draw even the best horses can't really recover.

Now I'm asking myself why I didn't just bet a tenner E/W on Big Orange instead of sticking him in an E/W Yankee? Still, one down three to go! (although with my previous ability to pick a winner probably three losses ).
