My wildcard is going to be Trippier this season. If he’s on set piece duty, and delivers like he did in the World Cup, his stock is going to sky rocket. Personally I think he’s the one to watch for us this season.
God I wish I could take this back! He’s been absolute pants.

Think I started a similar thread in summer and said there was a lot of upside still left in this squad and so far Gazzaniga foyth sissoko winks lamela moura have all stepped up. That’s 6 players that barely had an impact last season.

If only the 6 or so key players that were so important last year were performing well this year, we would be playing really well rathe r than just scraping by..............................

I can honestly say that I meant it and expected lots of ridicule for it. Even a broken clock.... :)
