Not sure if anybodys watching it, but Petrov is absolutly ripping Blackburn open. :-(

He was, but after Zurab Kishaniswhatever was taken off at HT and Emerton moved to RB Petrov was barely visible.

If Emerton kept him quiet it doesn't mean we're missing too much. Plus, you can't exactly lose what you never had. Taarabt will become a better player, Lennon isn't far from his level already and I reckon Malbranque is better... so hmm...

Petrov has such fantastic technique.
His crosses are amazing, so gutted we didn't buy him.

It's not just his actually ability to cross a ball, it's his decision making. Yesterday his little chip over for Vassel's goal was excellent, most wingers would probably have drilled it across the face of goal (which he did a few minutes earlier, only for Bianci to miss from around 5 yards), but he took his time, checked his surroundings and then delivered.

Wish we had him. :-(
