Super achievement but I'd reckon he's pissed he couldn't nominate Villa to be his last game and get congratulations from both sets of fans.... I know he's not retired but we all know he's effectively retired now

I think he'll play at least another 10-15 games for us this season.

I even wouldn't surprised to see him back in goal vs Chelsea... I am inclined to believe it will be Hugo, but if AVB really was just ensuring Hugo got game time to keep his Nr1 jersey in France, then it is still possible that a compromise is being sorted with a gradual transition planned, rather than the "that's it" approach people are assuming on here.

I'm sure there will be a gradual phasing out of Brad, but his appearances may be more limited to cup games than PL.

Brasil Spur, what didn't you agree with ? That Brad has been one of our top 3 players this year?

I'm gonna say the phenomenal saves he made in the previous 3 home games won us a point against West Brom, another against Norwich, and 2 against QPR. Some of them games had more than 1 fantastic save too.

Having said that, once we bought Lloris, widely regarded as one of the planet's best, , we should have given Brad the option of leaving, given we have 26 goalkeepers....
