To be honest I don't know whether I prefer empty seats, or seats taken up by tourists/neutrals. They're both as bad as each other when it comes to atmosphere.

I think 60k will be perfect at the new stadium. We should regularly get crowds of 50k+ even for the smaller games, and in a smaller stadium it wont be as noticable if people don' bother coming.

I reckon we'll see a wasteland of red seats on Sunday for the FA3rd

Look, it's no surprise. Wembley is no fun. It's a miserable place, and people are just not enjoying the experience and staying away, spending money elsewhere. At least this abomination is over halfway through.

And all that transport hassle, overground and underground probs last night again.

It's reduced capacity, and I was looking at the ticket sales the other day and they aren't as bad as you'd expect. No blocks of tickets unsold, only single tickets dotted around in each block remain.

Edit: General sale is now sold out which is good news!

Let's face it, it's going to hell getting 61k in and out of the new stadium, but I can face that if I love the place I'm going to, and have a brilliant time. Wembley is like queuing to get into room where someone is waiting torture you.

I hope all those, especially the Trust, who demanded the club go to Wembley have sat through every minute of every game.....

If they didn’t fuck about with the scheduling of that game so much you would have had a bigger turn out. As it is West Ham may be a derby game but I’ve personally never bothered with them in the same way as the Arse and Chelsea. Still went, but then I don’t have to put too much effort into going. Sticking to the 19 League games at home, no cups, and saving my pennies and pounds for the inevitable price hike in April.

It’s sold out. Sunday afternoon is a big difference to Thursday night. Plus most won’t see last night as the disaster most in here do. Annoying yes but wasn’t a calamitous result.

Very poor last night. It's still a London derby known to have abit of spite in it.

I have. And with the alternative being Milton Keynes, still bloody glad we're playing at Wembley
Yeah I agree. I have to remind myself of this every time I'm sitting on the met line going home from Wembley, as much as I hate going there at least I'm not coming back from Milton Keynes.

Also I don't get the issue with it being a Thursday night...
