5) We win a trophy.

Some of these are going to be unpopular and not all Spurs, but

1) We will win a cup but finish fifth.

2) Arsenal will finish fourth. The reason Arsenal will finish above us is that they have made sensible (if old in some cases) signings, the players will be up for playing for the new manager, Lacazette and Aubamayang will have service from a squad of players making more of an effort and most of their squad will have had a decent pre-season. In contrast, most of our senior players will be lacking a pre-season, to say nothing of almost no holiday, the toll of playing for nearly a year straight already and having to play another year before a proper rest (including the Euro qualifiers for the very same players) and the fact that new signings will need bedding in time as well.

This, however, will be a one off and we will be back to top four level the following season. They Arsenal fans will get carried away and then slapped down again.

3) If Sarri doesn't do the business Abramovich will put Chelsea up for sale.

4) Jose Mourinho sacked.

5) Poch will look to leave if we finish fifth and don't win a trophy.

Oh, and a bonus one. If Salah has another good season he'll hand in a transfer request at the end of the year.

4. Oliver Skipp plays in the league cup
5. Lamela scores 7 league goals and has 11 assists.

I will put all predictions in BOLD as requested.

1) The stand out most improved players will all be former PSG outcasts.
2) CM will be such a weak link that the team will visibly suffer and eventually achieve little in decisive matches.
3) All present Belgians will remain at the club for one more season.
4) The new stadium will be a grand theatre but void of atmosphere.
5) Pochettino and Levy will have their biggest argument leaving them on the brink not reconciling.

Here are my extremely bold predictions. You may scoff, but I genuinely believe these things will happen:

1. Levy will actually sign a first team player before the end of the transfer window. Maybe even two.
2. A very vocal person on the internet will claim that the new stadium "IS JUST NOT THE SAME" as White Hart Lane and that a part of their soul has died forever.
3. There will be a report from somewhere in the world of media, not sure where yet but somewhere over the course of the season, that suggests that one of our better players might leave the club.
4. Liverpool will not win the quadruple. I know it's hard to see but bear with me on this one I've got a sneaky feeling they may slip up somewhere.
5. Everyone here will watch Arsenal Fan TV at least once this season.

I'm game...

1. Lucas Moura will be the breakout player of the season for us
2. Lamela will grow in stature as he shows flexibility in playing in both attack and midfield - earning a call up back to the Argentina national side
3. Poch mostly plays a 3-5-2 or 433 this season, both to great effect
4. Fans turn on Lloris, Alli, and Dier
5. We will make two important signings in January, both of which will come to the club the following summer

Lamela plays a big role

Dier improves, Sanchez shows his limitations but still a good one for the near future

We win a cup

Kane hits 5 in a game

Onomah plays 5 or more prem games
If Kane does score 5 in a game, I really hope it's against the Spammers.

If we win a cup and finish 5th I hope it's the Champions League, that really would wipe the smile off the Gooners faces if they pipped us to 4th !!!

1. Lucas does a Salah. Yes. All of it.
2. Spurs go undefeated from Jan 2019 to March 2019. Team hits a stride and makes the new ground a fortress.
3. Danny Rose returns to form, becoming an unbelievable wing back.
4. No matter what Spurs win or where they finish, Poch leaves for Real. Subsequently get fired the following season.
5. Daniel will come through with signings and sells, decreasing the average age of the team.

2. Moura will flatter to deceive, and ultimately play a bit part role.
3. Winks will be the player we all think he can be.
4. Mourinho, and Klopp will be gone by the start of next season.
5. We will finish fourth and win nothing.

4. Dele Alli and Eric Dier finally announce their engagement

5. Harry Kane announced first team captain (Lloris gracefully respects and accepts the decision)

1. The opening game at NWHL/The Tottenham Stadium features a pre-match show of Ossie singing "Ossie's dream", Glenn and Chris performing "Diamond Lights" and the Go-Compare dude singing an operatic rendition of "Gertcha". Spurs win 7-6 in a nerve-shredding classic.

2. Erik Lamela, Moussa Dembele, Lucas Moura and Victor Wanyama are ruled out for the season after a 4-man centre circle collision in the NLD. Spurs were employing a tight man marking strategy, but were disorientated when Arsenal's midfield characteristically vanished into thin air. Substitute Moussa Sissoko scores a hat-trick.

3. After a bleak Christmas period of games, Spurs lie 9th in the table, demoralised and hampered after star striker Kane injured his troublesome ankle when the pitch started retracting in the middle of a game. Manager Pochettino, who has been sitting in the stands for the last month due to it's proximity to the cheese stall, resigns in fury, after his demands for a top class replacement during the january transfer window end with the club signing Charlie Austin at 10:59pm.

4. The club hire Harry Redknapp as head coach to "steady the ship"

5. Spurs finish 5th, with only a 1-0 home loss to Burnley preventing them from reaching 4th. A CL quarter final defeat to Barcelona, and an FA semi final defeat to a giant killing Wallsall, round the season off. "They've never 'ad it so good" declares Redknapp from his Range Rover Sport...
