Wow.

Well I really got that wrong didn't I.

I'm not used to posting here.
I'm a big rugby fan (as well as a Spurs fan) and I regularly post on forums over there. It's obviously a different set-up to this and fans just start a thread whenever they please, regardless of whether we have just won or lost a game. Apologies to the fragile souls over the timing of my post. I wasn't aware you couldn't post constructive criticism after a win.

There was no 'attention-seeking', no agenda, I simply didn't realise how things were done over here.
I now realise my post should have gone in the existing Sissoko thread. I just wasn't aware one existed.

I watched the match, I saw something, I wrote a post with my thoughts. It's that simple.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure it's worth it.
I'll head back to my rugby forum. Less hassle over there.

This thread really highlights how well Spurs Community can play without @thehipster in the forum.
Surely A&C can now see that.

The posting, the reasoning, the flair, the crisp use of language and the ability to move beyond rash knee-jerk potting of our own players been off the scale tonight. Right up there with the best football forums in Europe.
A&C has been blinded by some crusade to prove everyone's got a right to talk to utter bollocks about any of our players even at the detriment to how we are sometimes seen as the RAWK of Spurs Fan Forums.

@thehipster has great endeavour and purpose, but his posting levels are simply not up to the standard of our 'A' game.

Surely A&C has to see this now.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. we love ya really @thehipster (y):D

To be honest I thought you were serious, but then seeing your subsequent posts I then realised it was all tongue in cheek! Then forgot to change ratings, now fixed!!

In real life I’m often to deadpan for people to realise I’m not being serious but I didn’t think that translated into online posting ha.

Putting a "ha" at the end of every joke/moment of lightheartedness would certainly be a good start.

Thinking about it, Steve Coogan built an entire career by doing exactly that.

I am unreasonably proud of my own post with this one. Fuck you, that was pretty clever. :finger:

I think it’s a valid point.

He’s been useful in games this season but for us to be at our best then he just doesn’t get in the team. I think that’s pretty obvious.

I have a feeling he'll start against liverpool. Might not be the worst thing if we are gunna try and absorb pressure and hit them on the break. Its the games where we dominate the ball that he's utterly useless.

I am sorry that you had a poor response to the thread.

I have been a member on a number of forums focusing on various subjects. One thing that seems to really annoy people is starting up numerous threads when there is already a thread covering that subject.

To the members who have been here all season we are a bit tired of Sissoko posts. It's pretty universal that people agree he is not good enough. Some think given the injuries to Wanyama and Dembele he has had a role to play this season. Others just think he is useless full stop.

If your post had gone into the Sissoko thread you would have had a better reaction. For whatever reason people are much more negative to thread starters.

It’s been said already, but the eagerness to jump in with both feet on someone for starting a mildly negative thread is fucking embarrassing.

Same old suspects as well,.

Yeah, Always the same people, isn't it?

You just don’t understand how A&C works and the tactical importance of @thehipster to A&C forum strategy.

If thehipster didn’t start a thread ****ing off Sissoko then me or @slartibartfast would have had to start it, meaning we wouldn’t be rested enough when we needed to start the Sissoko scapegoating thread the next time we lost because Sissoko trapped a ball 30 yards to put Salah clean through for the winning goal at Anfield.

Some people just don’t understand the tactical importance of scapegoat rotational postage.

Actually saw my therapist today and sissoko came up, not even joking. She was asking me what made me angry. Anyways at least I have a coping mechanism now if he is selected. Honestly I’m sure he’s a lovely guy but he just doesn’t suit our free flowing best football. He’d work well in a more industrious team like a WBA.
