Andreas Johansson, who plays for them now, scored a brace against us two seasons ago for Wigan in the 2-2 draw at the Lane.

wont be as easy as some people think. they knocked sampdoria out to get into the group stages and drew with anderlecht away so a win would be a decent result. obviously we should be beating teams of their quality but cant see us turning them over

Putting Sampdoria out and drawing with Anderlecht doesn't mean that much, but I don't think anyone was expecting Rosenborg to hold Chelsea at the Bridge, let alone that they'd beat Valencia twice, so Aalborg are definitely not to be taken lightly.

Aalborg shouldn't be under-estimated, if we do, we'll find ourselves losing.

I think though, the signs of us playing football are starting to shine through again, as witnessed on Sunday. It is now time to turn the screw and start winning games, and being dominant against teams for 90 mins.

reckon they'll be keen for a clean sheet with the win, see it as important to build confidence in defence...so i am going for 2-0

Hope he plays Wipey at left back and Bale at LW. No reason not to if both are fit.

If either is injured then Boateng or Tarrab at LW instead of Steed

Adam why, what has Malb done recently to be dropped, I still think he has been right up there with Keane as player of the season so far.

Clive hauled Taarabt off in the reserve game last night for being rubbish and getting booked, so no chance of him figuring in the First XI very soon, I'd have thought. What leads you to suppose Prince Bong can play LM? What's wrong with Malbranque?

Probably, but a point from Anderlecht will make it a certainty, and I'll be very disappointed if we don't get at least that.
