The usual course of action when the Press overstep the mark is to fine them. I've been saying for decades that the way to stop them is to ban them from selling their papers for an appropriate term. In that time they could lose their customers to a rival and they would have to take notice.

Yes and if this had been a thread about "how good/bad was Aaron Lennon" you might have a point. But it isn't. It's a thread in light of him falling ill. It would be totally offensive and disrespectful whoever the player was whether it were King who is a Spurs institution to Gary Doherty who was frankly shit.

It's about human decency transcending opinion on how well another person kicks a football.
