Good luck Aaron. Hopefully you don't improve them too much....
does anyone know theres an option to buy attached to the loan?
Based on the 20 minutes I watched he looked pretty disinterested in doing much work or running...
Not even in the squad tonight. Hoping we haven't wasted our time loaning him to Everton

The weird thing about this move is that Everton play a 4-2-3-1 formation, which was pretty much the ongoing of Lennon with us.
They also have an attacking overlapping full back in Coleman, which again doesn't really suit Lennon's style.
With everyone fit I can't see Lennon being first choice for their attacking three.
Lennon players best in a 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1 with a more defensive Stalteri / Corkula right back behind him.
They do play a 4-2-3-1 but Martinez has always preferred having one inverted winger and one traditional winger to supply stretch. Where Lennon can thrive in it is because they don't sit so incredibly high as we do, and so he has much more room to buildup momentum and affect the game through space. It's tougher for traditional wingers to affect the game for us because with the compacted field, they're often crossing into already organized boxes.
What happened to McGeady?
looks like lennon's playing up front here, or at least very centrally. have always wanted to see him get a go in that role.
Won a penalty and got Coloccini sent off today. Seems to be doing alright, think Everton is a good fit for him.
