Sell him to Hull whilst we can still fetch a decent fee. We cannot afford to have one of our four attacking players be someone that can't contribute goals or assists. No other team near the top would stick with that.
I cant see Hull wanting him to be honest

Tim's said he "trusts" Lennon. Him and Bentaleb are infallible and when fit will always start. Again, Bentaleb no doubt is a talent and has done well since his debut but, even at his age, performances should count and when he's not doing that well he should also be held "accountable" (i.e. not start or being subbed).

He can go.

Total passenger these days.

He's there because of his defensive work, which he does a lots of. And Tim has also pointed that out. Too me it sound a bit like when Harry justified Crouch performances by pointing out how important he is in defense. Not that defensive work isn't important for attacking players, it sure it, but that should not be main criteria for playing them.

This might be a bit contentious and I usually don't like these types of suggestions but I think he could be converted into a fullback (both left and right). His defensive game is pretty good and he has pace to burn and is still reasonably young. I would certainly prefer him above both of our current options.

I think he has been a decent servant for the club so I think it's a bit short sighted to be overly disrespectful to him. Yes of course he could have been much better etc but lets not take away that he has been effective for us previously and was instrumental in getting 4th, our CL run and wining the league cup. He has also been at the heart of some of our great games over the years including those against Chelsea and Arsenal.

the fact he tracks back and helps out in defence (although I think this is MASSIVELY overstated) doesn't automatically make him a good defender.

He is so much slower now and today, sadly, he was mostly ineffective and floundering. It's a shame because he has been so much better.

Jimmy Greaves was instrumental in our winning the FA Cup in 1962 and the Cup Winners Cup in 63. In view of the goal drought we are experiencing, we should have him back and if he doesn't perform, don't criticize due to respect for what he had done for us in the past.

As you seem to struggle with understanding numbers I'll point out that Lennon is 26 and only about 2 years older than Chadli.

Lennon is winding down, but Id love to keep him until his playing days are done. I disagree that Townshend is a better option, but Lamela may be if he is ever fit again.

Unfortunately though he is a midget so would get bullied. He tracks back and sometimes manages to pinch the ball away, this doesn't make him a defender.

He needs competition to kick him up the arse. Hopefully Lamela will provide this.

The last decent game he had was at OT.

Sunderland away as well.

Those are the only two games that I recall him playing pretty well.

I really struggle to see why Lennon gets all the hate he does. Yes he hasn't reached the potential he probably should have but I don't think there are many players on the pitch that want to win as much as he does. There are now several managers in a row that have seen him as one of the first players on the team sheet, that surely has to be for a reason. Maybe he always follows the managers instructions, it's defiantly visible to me that he is one of the few midfielders that always gives 100% when we are defending. The fact that he looks to pass rather than shooting is it that he lacks confidence or is it that he is more of a team player or even he is aware of his limitations and that a pass is more likely to result in a goal than one of his (often girly) shots.

Additionally I truly believe that loyalty should go both ways, I'm sure he has had offers to move to other clubs yet has stayed with spurs. Personally I want Lamela to come good and make the right wing berth his, I would however hate for Lennon to be sold as I think he's a great squad player to have.

Slate players for being selfish, slate players for not giving enough effort. Please don't slate players who appear to want to win as much as the fans do.

That shouldn't be a justifiable reason to play him. The only real positive I can give for the boy is that he's very good at tracking back but that's an ability that, albeit very handy in a wide player, shouldn't be the main reason for being selected. He offers very little otherwise, doesn't take players on and cannot cross a ball. He goes on little mazy runs but doesn't have the brains to slot in a pass or open up space with it. Very disappointing.

I can accept playing him at the moment due to injuries and not having a plethora of options on the wings but in the summer he needs to move on with his career. He's done everything he can for us, and vice versa.
