Just heard this on the radio and logged on to say BLOODY GREAT!! This should put paid to Ferguson's attempts to sign him. He'd have to pay £25 million now! And most pleased to read Lennon's comments too, he is obviously vert happy at Spurs and has no intention of going elsewhere anytime soon.

Could prove to be the best signing we make in this month's window. Unfortunately, the departure of Carrick is a reminder that players will not willing wait for us to reach our potential. Hopefully Huddlestone, Lennon and Dawson will be patient at Spurs and payback the investment thats been made in them. Personally, I think Defoe has shown over the last 18 months he'll be willing to stick it out at Spurs as I'm sure he would have manufactured a move if he wanted one.
