AC Milan are weighing up a bid for Tottenham fullback Gareth Bale.

Corriere dello Sport says Milan are turning to the Wales international after seeing a deal for Porto wing-back Aly Cissokho collapse due to a failed medical.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani and transfers guru Ariedo Braida have discussed the prospect of moving for Bale this week.

The former Southampton defender fits the new transfer profile at Milan and if the Cissokho deal cannot be salvaged, Milan will bid for Bale.

That doesn't really surprise myself .
Good clubs like Ac Milan or Inter are looking for good players and in my opinion , Gareth Bale is one of them for sure.
Let's give him a real chance this season.
If we are too fucking stupid to keep this young player ; so let him go and maybe enjoying some real football somewhere.
But if this happens , we 'll probabaly regret it at some point

The boy is a jinx, if it wasn't for him we would have won the treble last season!

Seriously though, he is struggling to get in our first team how the f is he going to get into either of the Milans? Could be a good player once he gets his growing pains out of the way but still has a lot to prove.

It bloody well surprises me. You honestly reckon that of all the players in the world that AC and Inter could be looking at they want Gareth Bale????

There's a decent footballer waiting to flourish there somewhere, but whether this potential comes to fruition and whether it's with us, and in what position, remains to be seen. There eventually comes a tipping point in every young player's career, and for Bale I expect it to be this season-he'll either progress or move on. I'd like to see Redknapp give him his chance, but judging by BAE's performances towards the end of last season it's won't be at LB unless BAE gets injured.

This may be the result of Morinho`s overtures.
Bale is very young and qaulity but has yet to recover from a poor start. I`m sure he will flourish.
B.A.E. is the better left back and is possibly the best buy from the Arnesen period. He is also a qaulity player and it`s only a question of time before one of the big boys acknowledge that with a bid.

    Alamo,

You can think whatever you want about the player but if Jose Mourinho

seems to be interesting about him, Gareth Bale mustn't be such a bad

player.( he proved us that in the 07-08 season).

If him to leave Spurs , that would be a big disappointment for me and

wishes he'll prove you wrong in his new club.

But I am sure that the likes of Man City, Villa or Everton would be ok to

get him if the 2 Milans Clubs don't finaaly get him.

    Future will tell.

Fair enough mate I just don't think that he warrants such attention. If he can't make our first team then for all the potential I can't see such ilustrious clubs courting him.

Stranger things have happened though :)

Well, of course the Premiership is littered with teenage fullbacks who are first choice for their clubs. Like ... um ... oh ... there aren't any.

A lot of people who know a lot more about football than I know reckon G Bale is a rare talent. He was a first choice international for small country at 18. He was playing for a major Premiership club before he was 19. But he's a fullback. There just aren't any good teenage fullbacks. They can't defend well enough. They get roasted because they don't have the nous.

Unless a lot of experts are spectacularly wrong, Bale will be fine. I hope it's with us.
