At this rate you might as well keep an open thread with all the allegations against various players.

Saying that, to be perfectly honest, I hate reading about this stuff. If a player is found guilty then it should be public knowledge and worth mentioning in a thread, but until then these are just allegations. I'm sure there are plenty of players taking advantage of women and using their status as a means to an unsavoury end. However, there's always a chance that a player is innocent when these allegations arise. It's a tough situation, especially given how difficult it is to prove rape and the consequences on both sides are awful. Either a rapist is allowed to walk free or an innocent person has their life ruined if they aren't a rapist.

I jsut feel that the media shouldn't get involved and leave it for the courts and juries to decide. Maybe it's better if it becomes public knowledge after a verdict has been given? I don't know. Just a shit subject to deal with all round.

Problem thread will get shut down as some players dont like being accused of rape and instead threaten anyone that names them with a suit

Well if they are innocent surely that is perfectly acceptable response?

Yeah, I was looking for a PSG or Ligue 1 thread. I think it's important to lift, because imo more allegations are coming out because women dare to report it.

I also think that it will rarely happen that big football names will get accused and there is no truth in it.
